"We went for dinner after we read the reviews on ta. We reserved a table and when we arrived a couple of tables where reserved and other occupied.We shared a starter and enjoyed our main course. Really well prepared and cooked.The staff was very pleasant and knew what they were doing which made you feel at ease.Had a lovely evening, Thank you!"

"We sat out on the lovely tree covered, quiet patio and thoroughly enjoyed our brunch! The staff made excellent food suggestions and did a great job pairing beer, "moctails", and "boctails" with our food. I enjoyed the brioche French toast and a sour cherry mojito "boctail". I hope to return to this fabulous restaurant next time I visit Switzerland!"

"Sadly, not a good experience for us but maybe others will enjoy. For us…. Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Presentation of Food: 4/5 Food Quality: 2.5/5 Value: 2/5 Overall: 3.3/5 $300+ for 2 glasses of wine and two chef’s tasting menus that we left half-way thru because we just didn’t care for the food. Main issue was most everything was over salted to our taste. Perhaps it was us, perhaps not. Other dislikes was that the pork belly wraps were dried-out and tough (chewy), as well as salty. The veal cheek with espuma was salty. The remake that provided with a cabbage substitute was better, but we wanted the veal. After the calamari and mussel dish we had had enough to just ask for the check. Paid for the entire tasting meal except for our wine, as they recognized we weren’t thrilled. Not entirely sure, but believe we left without receiving the main course or desserts. Staff, again, were lovely. Perhaps you may like this spot, but for us…meh. #bummer #bauernschänke #salty"

"Mit grossen Erwartungen sind wir an einem Samstagabend ins Brisket essen gegangen, diese Erwartungen wurden leider nur teilweise erfüllt. Das Ambiente war super, aufgrund des schönen Wetters konnten wir auf der Terrasse essen, was sehr toll war. Nur leider wurden wir zu fünft an einen 4er Tisch gesetzt was vom Platz her nicht ideal war. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und locker drauf, was sehr gut zu dieser Art von Restaurant passt. Die bestellten Drinks waren sehr gut und schön präsentiert. Das BBQ war sehr gut ! Ich war bereits an diversen Orten in Amerika und ass dort traditionelles BBQ und das BBQ, dass hier angeboten wird kann sich definitiv mit Original amerikanischem BBQ messen! Der einzige Minuspunkt, welcher aber leider doch zu markant war, sind die Beilagen. Der bestellte Salat war kaum mit Sauce serviert, die Chili-Cheese Fries waren mit wenig Cheese und anstatt Chili mit Chilischoten und ein paar Beans garniert. Ich liebe das typisch Amerikanische Mac' and Cheese, aber das Mac' and Cheese, dass im Brisket serviert wird hat nicht viel mit dem Original zu tun... zu wenig Käse und "Brösmeli" war dann doch zu Schweizerisch interpretiert- Schade !!Ich denke, wenn das Brisket die gleiche Qualität des BBQ in die Beilagen stecken würde, wäre das Restaurant ein absoluter Hot Spot in Zürich ! Ich werde sicher wieder einmal als Gast vorbei kommen und werde mir nochmals ein Bild machen. Vielen Dank für das tolle Essen !"

"Yume-ramen is a real treat and the first plant based ramen shop in Zurich.. A cozy charming restaurant a short walk from the Zurich train station, very nice and attentive staff and delicious food. The vegan fried no squid is a first time find on...any vegan menu seen before and is very well served with vegan mayo. The Ramen are very tasty and the Sake Japanese beers are a perfect compliment. The service is excellent and special aprons provided protect from splashes. The restaurant has a lovely bell at the door and a charming ambiance, Overall, Wonderful! Thank You yume-ramen for a lovely evening! A nostalgic reminder of how special Japanese service is since visiting Japan and a visit here feels like being there again!! Highly recommended."
