I’ve been eating here for years, which is why I was caught off guard when an associate there gave me the 3rd degree for asking for an additional set of plastic ware. "1. Let's see. When entering after a whole day Folly beach trip, we asked if we could sit outside after we see a beautiful outdoor dining area and were strictly told NO, you can choose a table anywhere in the middle so that we can have a table in the middle on the inside. We ordered the pick 3 baskets, shrimps, scallops, flounder. Also the baked chicken with 3 sides, and a shrimp taco. I am definitely a fan of shrimp taco, the sauce was really good, so was the ranch and so was the BBQ! The baked chicken was really good, Cornbread really good, Mac n cheese really good. Friends were fine. Seafood was good, spices were good."

"The only thing good was the corn muffin. If you are going to call your restaurant Soul Food then it should taste like soul. Trust me there was no soul in that food. Everything was undercooked!!! Plus, don't call Lima beans Butterbeans this Georgia girl knows the difference."
