"We visited the Maypole 3rd August 2022. We popped in as a stop gap before our booked time at the Donkey Sanctuary. The lager/cider was great and refreshing. Our daughter enjoyed the play area in the garden. The server (I'm sorry, forgot to ask for your name) was lovely, friendly and great to chat to. We will pop in again when we're back in the area."

"We had a lovely weekend stay at the Brookfield hotel. We had a function on the Saturday night which was a 7 course meal and I have to say I was blown away with the service and the reassurance of my gluten free options, I could literally have exactly the same dishes as everyone else with just a couple of tweaks I couldn’t believe it! A lovely gentleman served me who I think was a manager (I am so sorry I cannot remember his name) which made me feel so looked after as it can be daunting eating out somewhere new! All staff were helpful and made the evening run smoothly it was very professional! The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed, the only thing I would say is more plug sockets but that’s not the end of the world! Also it was a bit expensive for room service as a sausage and bacon sandwich ended up being £13.45 including tray service but again with inflation maybe that’s why it was that much! Apart from that there was plenty of parking at a small charge and the hotel was easy to get around. Thank you for looking after us, it was the best meal I’ve had as a coeliac plus the most I’ve ever been able to eat!"

"We went to the Mow for the evening carvery and we were pleasantly surprised. Both the lady Elizabeth at the till and the Chef who served the meat were pleasant and cheerful when we were greeted. The meat this time was particularly good and the beef was tender. There was a rich variety of vegetables, of which all were in good condition except for the peas that were rather dry. The tables were clean. A good meal with great service. Thank you."

"Breakfast was cold, one hard egg, one piece of bacon, 2 sausages, a plate of disgusting beans and a piece of toast. I left the whole thing and told the girl who just looked away oh well, owner didn't care so wasted £22+ Young sulky girl didn't acknowledge, I had to ask for everything several times like menu, cutlery. We went and got our own sauces as she was on phone ignoring. Then I asked for napkin and she gave me one piece of unbreakable cotton kitchen roll between 3 of us. I paid for another egg which was rock hard too, they were very unapproachable and uncaring. Took our money though Expensive for an inedible breakfast which I left. No toilets Disgusting"

"Popped in for a breakfast to be told no fried eggs with breakfast as no oil to cook them are they for real asda is two minutes away so no excuse really in my view"
