Treated ourselves to afternoon tea at The Brookfield one Friday afternoon delicious sandwiches and fabulous selection of cakes, not to mention the fruit and plain scones, jam and clotted cream with an endless supply of tea. Parking not free , breakfast was overpriced and terrible, took 3 times to get what we ordered. Slow service. Room was very hot and uncomfortable with window open, stand up air con terrible.
