"We had dinner here before gathering upstairs for a birthday party. The place is very nice inside and very busy on the Saturday night we went there. The food was decent enough but not something you would rave about.Service was very good. Parking at the...parkade across the street was convinient with the first 90 minutes free and the pub adding on an extra 90 minutes when asked for."

"Love this place! Love that I can get good poutine here! Note to those who are ordering GF items...the menu lists them as GF but some of them you have to specify GF and that's not entirely made clear. My sister and I (both celiacs) ordered something labeled GF. I said, the GF chicken pot pie and she didn't say GF bc it had a GF by it. Hers came with pastry on top and mine with mashed potatoes...so we knew something was up! Thank goodness one of ours was different or we would have eaten the pastry and been really sick."

"This little gem is a must. The food is really good, I have never once been disappointed by anything here and the fries are particularly awesome. The prices are really good, it's hard to find a place where 2 people can eat for less than 25$ but you certainly can here. Best little breakfast spot, I'd call it a greasy spoon but it really isn't, it's a lovely, well priced, and very clean spoon. Go there and eat fries."

"From the funky decor 'of all ages ' (see if you can spot the Banksy joke! to the epic service and truly wonderful food... this is a 'return for sure ' location. I 'll add photos of the food later, but I was stumped for what to have everything looked amazing, and the lamb was very special. 4 chops, on a rich jus, with potato and veg cakes, roasted fennel and cauliflower, and some green puree. So good. So, so good. Definitely order this medium rare. Tender, flavourful... and a fun little quirk: scored fat on the back creating chicharron of lamb! The Chef 's twist on a Caesar salad, with a chicken scotch egg (and a very authentic anchovy flavour filling out the richness and saltiness, along with huge flakes of Grand Padano was lovely at the 1/2 each size, and my partner 's daily special (halibut on green pea risotto and a lovely broth, with guy lan and asparagus was so well balanced and full of bright, fresh flavours. The creme brulee we shared at the end... mmmmWAH! Kiss kiss. So rich, so balance, low sweet and a lovely finish to a great meal!"

"Staff are very friendly. Ordered through app. (Note, their app sometimes have some good deals). Anyway, food wasn't ready when we got there. Needed to wait 15 min. Manager was very kind. Appreciate he went above and beyond and surprised us today with his great service. What I can tell you is, my hungry 3 yr old son wolfed down the chicken and fries. Snow was terrible today but the manager made our day. As for comment on the food: My take on the chicken: tasty, juicy and yummy. For the spicy, feels like they sprinkled the spicy powder on top. Still good. Some other Mary brown chain couldn't sprinkle the powder consistently. As for Fries, nothing extraordinary though. However would definitely go back for the chicken!"

"Her hospitality is second to none. She is kind, funny, yanks your chain and ensures that you are smiling while at the restaurant or when you walk out holding any one of her delectable Caribbean dishes. Lucky to have her setup shop, operate and survive through COVID. Hats off to this lady, tons of respect. Never seen anyone else but her running the operations. Over the years have tried a number of her creations and love every single one of them. You won't be disappointed and if you are, that's just a good sign to make an appointment with a therapist :"

"Pretty good! Lunch specials are a great value. So much variety. The Sri Lankan beef is very spicy just as a fyi, and the potatoes were a bit underdone. I enjoyed the vegetable curry that came with the combo and would happily order that again."
