"Lachi is a smaller restaurant that appears to be quite quiet in terms of customers, but anyone who sits down will see a large number of take out orders showing just how popular this place is. I've been here 3 times in the last few weeks visiting penticton. The best value is the lunch special, but ordering an entree, rice, and Naan will feed the average person twice. On one occasion I went with 2 friends. We ordered 2 entrees, 2 rice, and 2 Naan, and let very happy."

"Overall the experience was not recommendable. Servers were friendly and polite but seemed very overwhelmed. Our food took a very long time to come out and while it was alright it certainly didn’t stand out. Kids complained that the burgers were burnt (they were) and the steak on my wife’s steak and arugula salad was badly charred. Bill had to be corrected 3 times and items on the bill were priced higher than stated on the menu. (Prime rib $33 on menu, $34.50 on the bill). Definitely overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. 5 of our party were still hungry after eating. Not a good sign."

"We have dined at the VP for both lunch and dinner and have had really great experiences both times. The food is excellent and the service terrific. The view is A1 and worth the visit - even if you are simply having a glass of the Poplar Grove wine. It's not inexpensive however, so expect to spend some money on this meal."
