"Having looked at every menu we were lucky yo choose les Halles in St Cast ..where had a delicious salad of fous gras .coquilles and crevettes .with a tasty dressing sesame and soy ? Fresh and unique .. very good value we shared le trio...of creme brullees . Merci"

"This little restaurant was on the way to the supermarket and was a chance find around lunchtime. The 'A ' board outside caught our eye as it advertised a starter, plate de jour, dessert, wine and coffee for just 11 euros! We were not disappointed, a self service buffet for the starter, a good main dish, followed up with a cheese course, the dessert and then coffee, not to mention the free 75cl bottle of wine with the meal all for e11. Truly excellent value! So good we returned the next day to do lunch again, this time we were offered and accepted a second helping of the main dish, roast beef!! If only we had places like this in the UK. Thoroughly recommend a visit!"

"Seafood a speciality - decor isn't. It's not much on the luxury front but it provides some excellent stuff. Fruit de Mere was good - if slightly overpriced - but the whelks were outstanding - and how often have you heard that? Top fish was the sole - beautifully done followed by excellent chocolate pud. Not cheap - but certainly didn't feel fleeced. Nice range of organic Breton beers eases the pain of the bill too."

"Live in Brittany and travel all over to find good fruit de mer restaurants. It is becoming nigh impossible to find fresh plentiful seafood.This restaurant did very well,all was fresh, well presented but ditch the lettuce, ice would have been better."

"Had the 3 course lunch and as i like prawns ordered the assiette de la mer.Wasnt sure about the 3 oysters . In 60 years never eaten one!Only thing didn't know how they were meant to be eaten but later found the oyster bar in town where I got instructions!the food was tasty but ambience was very rushed and full of French families..not the place for a quiet meal .looked like there was a good selection of wine and maybe we need to return in the evening when not driving to sample."

"We have wanted to discover this restaurant for a long time and we had a great time, a breathtaking view of the sea, a warm welcome, real Customer Service which is appreciable and rare in certain establishments. Crispy acras and shrimps, delicious scallops like the fish of the day, Tacot. A homemade clafouti and crème brulée are a treat for those with a sweet tooth! We will come back ..."
