"1/2 pound of sliced brisket was ordered. Received maybe half that amount of very dry flavorless shredded pieces of meat. Sauce is definitely needed to choke this down. Nothing else comes with it ... no onions, no jalapeños, nothing. 1/2 pound of beef sparerib was ordered. Got maybe 5 bites of rib (which as actually pretty good) along with 2 large bones. We had to go to another food truck to get enough food to eat. The only interaction with the owner who wanted to know if I wanted to give him a 15% 20% or 25% tip!! The OWNERSHIP of this place has CHANGED. It is NOT as good as it used to be. Save your money and go to the Cube or Rudy's in Albuquerque. Santa Fe still doesn't have a decent BBQ place. Definitely will not be going back to this miserable excuse of a BBQ place."

"This quaint little stagecoach town has maybe 6 buildings. One of them is the restaurant with a wall decor of dollar bills (the food is pretty good)!! It's a fun place to stop for lunch although nearby is a boat marina, the lake to enjoy, a hiking trail and the regular tourist gift shops. Find the ice cream store for a prickly pear ice cream cone or jam and other unusual gifts. We have been there several times with our guests just a bit of Arizona!!"

"Being from KC, I'm not supposed to compliment BBQ from elsewhere, but this was great. I had the pulled pork bowl with slaw not usually a big slaw guy, but loved this one. Spicy sauce tied it all together. Highly recommend."

"I've had barbq in a lot of places in this area and this is the best i've ever tasted,,,The meat breaks apart and practically melts in your mouth. I bought a chopped barbq sandwich with potato salad to take to my brother in a care center who doesnt have teeth and he could eat it easily. Wont be buying barbq anywhere else from now on."
