"Stayed at the Delta and dropped in out of convenience. Food and service were excellent, but the 8 piece maki special cost $20. However it appeared to be good quality although unfortunately I'm not sure my palette is refined enough to tell the difference amongst wasabi and ginger."

"I remember my last visit here ,the foods and the service is excellent , drop in for lunch , it is ridiculous ,wait for less 15 min before a young kid shown up , not a word ,good morning or Hi , put two cups of tea and menu down ,we have to wait less another 15 mins before he show up for the order ,I know the restaurant is busy ,only take you lest one min to say hi ,but when I look around the restaurant ,they hire all young Kids working , and I can tell they all have no experience in the hospitality industry , their hands shaking when they taking food out , not a word ,just put down the foods on the tablet ,and took off , may be they do not speak any English ,,, dirty dishes all over the tablets , very sad to see that ,owner or manger too busy doing cash duty ! so many people waiting for tablets ,there is less over six empty dirty tablets not clean , ,so I said to my self ,where is all the great services went ???/ ,the place is dirty ,our tablet top is so greasy , I have to use my hot tea to clean the tablet , foods o.k , lot of M.S .G in the fish ,and the soup ,not a fun place to go ,unless you do not care what you eat ,just fill up your stomach ! we will not back 100% . "We saw their sign "Japanese ramen(noodle)".I'm from Japan and I love Ramen.They had Shio Ramen(salt base), Miso Ramen, Syoyu(soy sauce base) Ramen, Sapporo(salt and butter base) Ramen and some other Korean style noodle. They Did not have Ton Kotsu(pork bone base) which is my home town's best ramen....In Japan, we usualy eat Ramen with Gyoza. Their pan fried gyoza was actually good. But Ramen soup was so so and I felt little salty at the end.Also we tried chicken karaage(deep fried chicken), it was average.They only take cash or debit card. They open from 10:00am to 21:00."

"The food was quite bad and tasteless. The sullungtang had a brown color to it and doesn’t have a deep beef flavor. Even the soondubu was bland the shrimp was inedible. They didn’t use brisket but rather a beef shoulder cut where there are more tendon on the meat. The kimchi was also overly salty and drowned in fish sauce. Just felt like they were cutting corners."

"Went here with family as we had a craving for Japanese food. We ordered Bento lunches and ramen. The food was served to each of us at staggered times instead of at the same time, which was awkward. The food was well presented but was...not notable. the ramen was bland. It's hard to make a call on this place as all we had was lunch. Based on this experience even though the place itself was interesting for it being in an old heritage house I would say the overall experience was average. We will try it again and this time for dinner. The place was busy so that must speak for its popularity. A future update to come..."

"This restaurant has only opened for half a year. I always meant to try it and yet just kept on delaying. On an rainy and cold Friday evening, we decided to give it a try. We were quite satisfied and decided to be repeat customers.Interior: Beautifully renovated with contemporary feel, well lit and clean-lined tables and chairs. Three chandeliers made the restaurant look quite nice. The place is very clean.Food: Served in beautiful containers and foods look even more appetizing. Presentation is great as the different ingredients are nicely arranged. Large portion size. We all came out full.Ingredients: We could taste the freshness of the food. They are generous in the amount of food. Their hotpot (personal size) is large and loaded with abut 10 different ingredients. For example, the Seafood Kimchi Pot $(7.75) I ordered include two good sized prawns, one mussels, squid rings, two fish ball, two slices of fish cakes, tofu, onion, napa, Korean mushroom and Kimchi. All ingredients tasted fresh to me. Service: Attentive service. Multilingual staff who speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Smilingly greeted us upon entering the restaurant, brought us tea and menu. While we were there for 40 minutes, the waiter and waitress came to refill tea/water twice. "This family-owned Japanese restaurant offers Excellent Food, Wonderful service at a very reasonable price. I especially enjoy the high quality WIDE SALMON sashimi. I also like the Udon and Ramen, they use freshly made broth as soup base. Overall Amazing experience!!!"

"Very disappointed because we came for the good reviews. Skip the steam pork bun because it’s so underwhelming and definitely not worth $3.5 for that small portion and super dry pork. The ramen noodles are very hard even we ordered normal. Cha siu in the ramen was very dry and bland. I had never had such a disappointing bowl of ramen.I give it a 3 star because it’s a small business and the ambience is quite cozy. But guys you need to step up your game because it’s pretty bad"
