"RAW carrot cake! Unfortunately, it’s possibly the worst “carrot cake” you can have it’s actually a really dense wet muffin instead of a traditional cake and has cranberries and flate white chocolate chips, very strange and disappointing for a place that calls itself a bakery. The danishes taste old or frozen and if it’s not that, something else is off because the pastry is chewy and stiff instead of flaky and leaves a bad gritty aftertaste. Like other reviews, most pastries bought were sadly tossed because they were pretty bad. What a waste of money. You’re better off getting desserts anywhere else even the grocery store pastries are better. Are you ok Crust? Seems like a lot is not going well there.Nothing tasted fresh and is definitely not worth the prices upwards of $4.50 per pastry. Also, isn’t quiche supposed to be refrigerated? They have them stacked in the display case which doesn’t seem safe.Sad experience :"

"A more upmarket restaurant located within a hotel on the edge of the harbour. Really friendly and welcoming staff who put us at ease. We ate from the lunchtime menu (available only in the bar area of an evening) and found the selection to be more than adequate. My thanks to the restaurant receptionist who changed our table accordingly and without fuss, Lovely views across the harbour where there is always something going on. Not the cheapest but a nice place to have a good meal."

"Good Deli Food. Good lunchtime fare. A little pricey, but I suppose thats what you get when you are in the heart of Victoria right down the street from the Empress. <br/>Had their Beef Dip to go, and it was pretty good. I loved the crusty bun they used for the sandwich.<br/>Got my order to go, so didn't get to enjoy the ambiance of the restuarant, but it seemed nice.<br/>I might go back, but it would be nicer if they had some lower price options."

"This place is fantastic! I am allergic to both dairy and wheat and found this place to be more than accommodating. Many options and quality food. Breakfast sandwich, smoothie and a paleo bowl are delicious. Bought a pizza for a friend who doesn't have any allergies and they found the food amazing. Highly recommend!"

"This place has set a high bar for all future birthday cakes! I loved..LOVED...my Chocolate Symphony cake. It was light, smooth and wonderfully chocolatey! Is that a word...chocolatey? This cake was it. The staff are lovely. The prices are on the mark. The treats are out of this world! I highly, highly recommend you contact these fine folk for your next event (big or small). They will impress you. I promise. PS. They have gluten free options too!"
