"Take a look at this! Little place, strip mall, but fabulous food! Today's special was a butternut soup, and I thought I was doing the best! Hubby's ravioli was fresh and excellent! Even my Sauvignon Blanc tasted wonderful! If you are in the area, recommend finding it!"

"Nice little restaurant. My husband and I visited the restaurant this past Friday night (5/31/13), we were greeted after walking into this nice little family owned restaurant by one of the wait staff. We chose to dine inside due to the hot temps outside, it's a nice cozy atmosphere with lots of family history. Our dinners were very good, nice sized portions. The Veal Parm was good, and the Lasagna was nice and meaty with a nice dark red sauce (like my mother in law taught me how to make). It was a bit busy being Friday night, so due to waiting a bit the owner Frank gave us a complimentary Cannoli which was delicious. Our waiter Jackson, was excellent he is a nice guy and made sure we had everything to our liking. So if you go ask for Jackson, he will treat you good. We will be dining at Geno's Italian Restaurant again, after our dinner we spoke more to the owner Frank he is a very nice man with a big family. He told us about the history of the family owned restaurant and about the history of the city of Monroe itself. Met some very nice people at dinner and learned a bit of history. It was a nice night out, we are looking forward to doing it again soon."

"Not at all what I was expecting. My husband grew up here and he was always saying how we have to try it. I finally, after 29 years said okay. The crust had no flavor and was so basic. Like a street fair pizza. I expected my taste buds to soar with the sauce and it was a complete let down. I was so looking forward to true Italian pizza!! The garlic bread was just disappointing!! Like they took slices of french bread and threw garlic butter and cheese and boom. For the $25 we spent, I'd rather go somewhere else. Maybe it was a bad night or new cook?? But even the hubby said never again."

"I was passing through Louisiana and I decided I wanted a spicy chicken sandwich for lunch and the Google recommended Copeland's. Everyone was dressed in black and white, with long black aprons, and masked up. The place looked very fancy and I was worried about being under dressed so I sat in the bar and watched sports news on the TV. I decided to have the Jazzy Wings appetizer which was oily but delicious, it came with ranch celery sticks. I could have and should have made that my whole meal. The chicken sandwich came on a croissant lightly breaded and fried with a few tomato slices, spicy mayo, a dab of coleslaw. Long story short it is a messy sandwich and you are going to have to wash your hands after, but it was good."

"Our waiter has done a great job with the one he had to work with. the salat was devastated, the suppe was cold. my favorite pasta fagioli. saw and tasted nothing like anyone I had ever eaten. it was thick, full of pasta and not much broth. our waiter brought me a second bowl, which was the same and cold. my man ordered the minenmann who was also cold. only to our waiter. will not be back."

"Been here twice with my boyfriend and then our family. The food is absolutely delicious! The crispy burrata is unlike anything I've ever had, the balsamic calamari a is probably the best I've ever had, penne all's vodka was perfect, the chicken parm was gigantic and so yummy. I could go on and on. It was so good I forgot to take pictures but I'll be back and update the post."

"Honestly I wanted to cater from another place but it did not go through. So a family member suggested this place since it was in the area. I had a party for my son, he graduated from high school and he's going away for the Marines so it really meant alot to our family. I was not very happy with the catering. I ordered full trays of meatballs, chicken tenders, sausage and peppers, penne Ala Vodka , and Lasagna. I must say the chicken tenders and meatballs were really good. But everything else was ok. The Lasagna we didn't even eat for dinner because it was under cooked and we were so hungry we didn't want to wait to put it in the oven for another 20 minutes. I paid 80 dollars for a full tray of Lasagna that was not even cooked correctly. It upsets me because that's alot of money. I paid over 450 dollars for catering and everything should have been amazing. The food was average as was the service. I would not recommend this place for catering and I will never return."
