"Beware of the parking lot. Multiple deep pot holes all over, 2ft deep by 3ft wide hole at the driveway that you cant see until you hit it. One would think as much as they have raised prices recently they could afford some gravel. This hole will cause damage to a vehicle very soon. I asked Management about it and the answer I was given just didnt seem like they care. Quality and service has gone way down hill. This USED to be my favorite spot and I have been coming here for well over 17 years now."

"This review is long overdue! My husband and I had our wedding brunch reception here two years ago. Troy and his staff did an amazing job creating a delicious and filling buffet, with lots of our Blue Gill favorites. I highly recommend them for private events. We always have a great meal here, service is consistently pleasant, the restaurant is always clean we love Blue Gill!"

"Gainesville has a really good variety of food restaurants, likely because of the diversity of people around the University. Dragonfly has probably been our favorite restaurant in Gainesville for the past 10 years, until today. I know the head chef left, as last time I ate here was his last day in the kitchen. We shook hands and enjoyed a great meal. Today, there was actually a lot wrong with dining at Dragonfly. One of our favorite starters is the sautéed edamame, with the wiggly fish flakes on top. First batch came out extremely salty. after sending it back, the second comes out mostly burned. we order our favorites. There is the regular menu and then there is the hidden menu. ask for it, it has some off-menu good specials that were once on the menu but comes off. One of the favorites is the Eurotrance roll, from the off-menu list. Clearly who made it had never done this before, very messy. My Absolute fav is the Yellowtail Haku. Very, very tasty and on the regular menu. Alas, it never came. By the time I asked where it was, it had been forgotten. By now we're kinda done. Paid, left, had dessert elsewhere. Our favorite red wine was out of stock, edamame salty then burned, fav roll order forgotten, eurotrance a mess. Overall a BIG decline in quality. in 10 years we have not had a bad night at Dragonfly, until today. Degraded for sure."

"Spark is the gastrobar attached to embers steakhouse, and it might just be better than the steakhouse itself. Definitely one of the best values for a gourmet meal you can find. Where else can you get a filet with truffle butter for $30? I had to order that! And it accompanied by their signature lobster croquette, which is deep fried mashed potatoes with lobster, what more could you want? The service is excellent and they have some creative drink options. Make sure you get here early because it's all open seating and fills up fast"

"Great food and service. We sat in a cold area and the waitress was more than understanding to let us move. Didn't care for the pumpkin coffee cake but the brownie, shrimp and grits, and chicken lettuce wraps were great!"

"Winter comes up, so it's Pho season! I came here with my girlfriend and we split a bowl. The broth itself was more tasteful than many other pho sites I tried around Gainesville, but the meat/tips were more stingier than other places I also tried. We have a quarter of 1 meatball in the big bowl! The service was a little slow, but still manageable. Would recommend it for good Pho!"

"My family of four came in since we got gift cards for Christmas. Our server was Red, she was amazing. She was in the lounge section and was killing it. She was the bartender for the restaurant and our server. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, my mom thought hers was very cute. The food was great. I asked if I could get the blue cheese pecan salad as a meal with chicken and it was amazing. I didn’t get a picture of my mom’s food but the steaks were all great. And you can never go wrong with their Mac and cheese. If we weren’t so full we would have gotten dessert. It was a really nice lunch."
