"We had booked a table at 20:00 for 20:30, we had there 5 minutes late and was asked to wait at the bar with menus while a table was prepared for us, we were also drinking on the house for waiting. I ordered the shoved bark that arrived after a relatiw short waiting and it was one of the best meal times that I had during eating in a past, the bark was extremely tender and the fat literally melted in my mouth. the personal was very nice and polite and we received a discount of 20% for the late of the table. very happy with the service and would return definitiw."

"Attended for lunch, there was a 30min wait for a table but we were allowed to wait in lounge and received a buzz on the pad they give you to let you know it's ready. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Myself and my partner took our young child with us and was great to see baby changing facilities in men's and ladies toilets."

"Everything was wonderful. caillie beer was delicious. the fish soup with Scotch egg was a first, but was fantastic. also the cattle and mushroom pussies loved, but needed more mushrooms. the special was monk fish cajun style. husband as it bit seasoned were not evenly distributed so some pieces were spicier than others. all at a great place!"

"Stopped there from our way back from Aviemore and had beers . The one I had was Cairngorm Gold. Good interiors and plenty of outdoor seating area which you can enjoy on a dry day. The entrance to the pub was a bit confusing as there are two. If you climb up the stairs it takes you to the restaurant. And the rather back door entrance is to the bar and beer garden. Overall a good pub and for a quick stopover if you are in that area"

"Had a great early evening drink here and could see how this would make a fantastic Apres Ski' venue in the cold winter months. A fine selection of cask ales with Punk IPA on keg. Well decked out with corrugated iron which helps to create the right ambience. Only one gripe the excellent menu finishes at around so we missed it. Finishing cooking a little later would mean we would have eaten and stayed much longer in this top bar."

"My husband and I have been here a few times on the off-peak season, and it's been great. We even got to have the pub dog eat with us, which I loved! This time, we were here in the summer holidays, and it was mobbed. The staff were brilliant. Even though we had to wait for a table, the staff were keeping us informed that they knew we were waiting, etc, and didn't just ignore us. We had a bit of a wait, which was absolutely fine. When the food came out, it was a large, plateful, and delicious. The staff were very attentive, and even though they were so busy, they still had time to chat back and forth, giving us great customer service. I didn't get many pictures of the food this time because we were all so hungry. The burgers are always so tasty, but the star of the show was the chicken cesar salad. It's one of the best ones I've had! Yummy!! We will be back again. You just couldn't fault this place."
