"We recently had lunch at the Greenside bistro. It was a quiet Saturday, as the weather wasn't very pleasant, so the bistro was not as busy as usual. We have dined there on a number of different occasions and have found the food to be of a consistently excellent standard. A couple of us chose the barramundi which was cooked to perfection light, crisp, golden batter, and tasty fish. Others chose the roast lamb, also an excellent choice. The bistro offers generous servings, great service and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended."

"I'm a local and this is my #1 preferred sushi takeaway restaurant in the Wendouree and Ballarat North areas. The food is better than some larger sushi chains, and the staff are always polite. I feel that customers get more personal service here than at a large chain. I love the avocado sushi rolls from here. There is a good range of standard nori rolls, some sushi bento boxes, individual sushi pieces and hot food such as gyoza. I love the fact that they are open seven days."

"First visit to Ratatouille for us but it won't be the last. Ben & his staff do a great job of making you feel welcome. We tried the duck & a pasta, both of which were wonderful. Also had escargot for entree & my wife had a apple desert. All were excellent & a good proportion. We will go back to try more on the menu. The only advise, particularly in the winter as room is limited, is to book."

"Enjoyed our lunch. Seniors meals $12 Monday to Friday.Flat head tails and roast. The roast was beef with five different vegetables. The meat was tender and tasty. Nice gravy and mustard sauce to the side. Went on a Thursday. It was busy however we were served quickly, friendly staff. Lovely restful view overlooking the golf course.Free iced water provided.Have been before and would go again."
