"After being let at the last minute by another restaurant who had electrical problems, we decided to try Averna for the first time to celebrate my birthday with friends. We had no problem getting a table (Thur) and found the food was amazing, the ambiance was warm and cosy, and the waiters were attentive and even bought out a cake with candle! All in all, it was a great experience. Thank you."

"We had a meal at The Fairmile in Cobham, Surrey. We were looked after by Jack and he was so attentive even though he was busy. He was friendly, charming and witty. Nothing was too much trouble and when we asked for anything extra, he...was very prompt in bringing it. The meal was delicious! They do a wonderful Sunday roast with everything cooked to perfection. We would highly recommend it and look forward to another visit."

"We arrived at the restaurant on a Sunday evening to be greeted by the duty manager who told us that they were operating on very restricted menu as they had had no delivery for 4 days! In addition, cheese soufflés we’re not cheesy and 3 rib eyes were as gristly and tough as could be! The staff were apologetic and great. In the end the manager did the right thing and reduced bill considerably We all have off days and this sure was an off day. But. Will be back!"

"Excellent service from our waitress who unfortunately was let down on this occasion by the kitchen, who were unable to get all the food out at the same time, and which unfortunately ruined the dining experience. That being said we are sure it was a one off and will not stop us visiting Cote restaurants."

"Was in the hotel oakland and found this beautiful place near the day of departure to the breakfast. friendly staff and all food freshly cooked. appropriately expensive and tasty eating and we all had different, a full English, a vegetarian English, a bean on toast and speck sandwich and a person had a slice of carrot cake that was really moist. the next time we are on this wise, it will definitely have to do. would be highly recommended."
