"Service and quality of food is always top notch at Bonfire. Getting to know the staff here we feel very comfortable dining here and especially now that proof of vaccination is required. I do miss the grilled Irish soda bread they used to serve. The...sour dough was okay but not as good. Salad was crisp and fresh and big enough for two to share. The Manitoba chicken on their regular menu is spectacular both in presentation and flavours (fig and goat cheese). I am not a potato fan but there was no problem getting it served with rice. Fresh veggies were excellent. Pasta specials are always interesting and tonight’s was hot and spicy…..chorizo, red pepper, chicken, scallions, black sesame seeds with chili cream sauce. Pear and prosciutto pizza was awesome as was the Margarita with the addition of kalamata olives!"

"Do not miss a dining experience at Beaujenna's in the French Quarter of Winnipeg. In front of an unassuming house on Hamel Avenue, the first-time visitor wonders what the seven-course will be like. Once inside, the orange walls, quilted ceiling, and fresh table flowers work their charm. Beaujenna waits the eight tables while her husband works marvels in the kitchen. We are vegetarians and the chef had no trouble modifying meat courses to suit us. Each of the courses was delicious and presented in a creative manner. We loved every bite!! My wife is allergic to alcohol, but I ordered the wine servings for each course. Perfect and fun to sample. This could be the destination for a get-together with friends or a place for a couples' special occasion dinner. No doubt you will enjoy the experience."

"We were there for Thursday night Jazz on the patio. The food was very good, the service fine and the music excellent. It is expensive, but when all the stars align as they did for us, it is well worth it. A delightful summer evening in Winnipeg. God I love this city in summer."

"Mona Lisa has such authentic Italian food! Never once was I disappointed with my order. At the most recent visit, I had the pane fritto (fried fluffy pillow-like dough with tomato sauce), Italian salad, fettuccine alfredo and pollo parmiggiano. The meal was delicious!!! If you are looking for a great authentic Italian restaurant for special occasions, this is the place!!"

"Had the Steak sandwich for lunch today and it was amazing!! The ceasar salad was also very tasty. The ceasar dressing has such good flavor. My steak was cooked exactly as a medium rare steak should be. I will definitely be back as there was a lot of items on the menu I'd like to try"
