"My wife and I had Sunday lunch at The Fishers and without a doubt, it proved to be the best (by far) Sunday lunch that we 've had for many an year! The quality and quantity of the meal reflected a true value of money. The beef was awesome, along with the fresh veg. etc. Nice, friendly owners can 't wait to visit there again, when i, m next in the area."

"We had lunch at the Angel last Friday which was the Festival of Senses weekend,while the restaurant was busy we had booked a table in advance,we were promptly seated and our food was served in a good time considering how busy it was. The food was of good quality,warm and tasty. Would recommend eating here."

"Visited today for Sunday Lunch with my partner and have to describe our meals as special. The roast beef together with all the accompaniments were cooked to perfection, the way it was presented was mouth watering and the taste was immense, with a special mention to the stuffing which was outstanding, we finished our meal of with the Apple crumble and bread& butter pudding, which again was faultless. Congratulations to the chef and his staff for making this visit most memorable!!"

"Spending a weekend away with family we decided to top it off with Sunday lunch. Well the Bell certainly lived up. A fantastic pub tastefully decorated. A real warm welcome from the Bar lady,who was am absolute credit to the Bell.Great selection of ales. An excellent menu that catered for all our needs . We all had starters and everyone agreed the quality presentation and taste was fantastic. The Smoaked Haddock Tart was beautiful and Spring Rolls was so tasty. On to the main we were all blown away by the quality and taste of the main courses especially the Belly Pork and roast beef. The services was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The veg was cooked to perfection a great selection of potatoe dishes to choose. The desserts tempted us as there was a fantastic choice Once again the standard was amazing.having 2 chefs in our family party we have eaten plenty of Sunday lunches we all agreed that the food was on an amazing level and all believed this was the BEST Sunday lunch we have had. It was a show case of excellent quality executed with passion and love. We all can't wait for our next family get away to visit the Bell. Thank you"
