"When the plaza was rebuilt to accommodate a larger Shoppers, this reastaurant was forced across the parking lot to its current location which is brighter and more modern. It helps to know ownership and their specialties. Harry's (formerly Harry's Open Kitchen) does a good job on breakfast and a great job on Greek dishes. My favourite is Gyros on a pita with either fries or a Greek salad. Portions are huge! The pita is warm and soft- SO fresh! It is stuffed with generous slices of gyros meat and oozing with chopped tomatoes, onions and garlicky tzatziki. Hubby had a very nice Club House with side salad. They have a good value seniors' menu and do a pretty decent job on liver and onions. Lunch time was very busy and there were few empty tables. A waitress floating by with an order asked us to seat ourselves - not a problem! Once seated, we immediately got menus and the order was up quickly enough. Customers can be messy but I saw no problem with cleanliness. People come because, in typical Greek fashion,they give you big servings at reasonable prices.The day we were there, one of the customers was the principal from London's Greek school!"

"Reasonably priced homecooked food. Pies are top notch. The apple pie and rhubarb custard are my favourites. Stop in for a slice, or order the day before for whole pies. Very nice family run restaurant with homemade burgers sourced locally. Be warned though. Owner isn't much of a Leaf fan!"

"Love Italian food and the food at this Club does not disappoint. Several items on the menu but we chose to have the spaghetti. Delicious homemade sauce and more than you can eat. Salad fresh. Service from the lady behind the bar was great. Next time I may order both the spaghetti and the pizza. Will visit this Club as often as I can."

"Hi Travellers: I've been going to MH forever !! I read the not-so-good review and decided to chip in my 5 cents (you know they are getting rid of the penny so I have to give more of an opinion - joke). I know the owners, George and his wife Baha (I am probably misspelling her name so mea culpa). I have never, ever had a bad meal at this place. I have never sent back a meal. I think this is an excellent record since I have eaten there for the last 18 years or so. I know if there was a problem, George would make it right. His staff have always been friendly, helpful and respectful. Considering the number of people they serve with age or disability issues this is remarkable. It has a sit-down-in-a-friend's-kitchen feel to the place. Homey, comfort food and the prices aren't bad. I can definitely recommend the roast beef dinner, the halibut and their chicken club wrap. Breakfast is standard but George makes a great ham (nicely diced) and cheddar cheese omelette (finely grated - yum). Good place to stop in on your way home or after some shopping. Hope this helps. "Have always loved beef n cheddar and had it recently not in a while, so I bought it again and it was as good as usual. You're very generous with the meat. Love the red sauce, snackers were different and delicious when they had."

"My husband and I were staying in London for work and Tuscany's was just down the street from our hotel so we thought we would check it out. We were there around 6 pm on a weekday and it was very quiet. The service was very good and the food came quickly and was hot. The sevings were adequate. I finished all of mine, and my husband took some back with us for lunch the next day. WE would certainly visit again."

"We were staying in London for a hockey tournament and had take out from this location for a late dinner Friday night. This was by far the best Swiss Chalet we have ever had, and one of the best restaurant meals we have ever had period. The salads were fresh and didn't taste like they had been treated with something to keep them fresh. The rolls were fresh and not rubbery like they are at our local Swiss Chalet. The best part of the meal - the Chicken! The breasts were so tender and tasty...I have never had Swiss Chalet this good! To whomever runs this place, you are a master chef!"
