"After an excellent dinner a year ago with their Russian server lady, Oksana, we returned for another special dinner with the same lady to attend to us. A most delightful evening.First comes a tiny, little surprise. A colorful small bite of special red beet with different colored mousses. A. As the evening progresses, it turns into a solid A.Start with Tito vodka ($10, 1 ounce, a touch brazen in the price. I buy a whole bottle for US $16.99 in my home town.) or Stolichnaya, Elite ($10,) Both first-rate. Swish it down with Steamworks Pilsner ($9) Also first rate.Appetizer: Scallops ($23) The best in consistency and preparation. Small portion of oysters, freshly harvested by the local shores (on the house.) The best. Main courses: Roast duck ($48) Tender, well prepared slices. A-Grilled Halibut ($45, special of the day.) Good-sized fresh, tender, light-colored. Could be a touch more spiced, rather bland. Still A.Drink: ½ liter of red Okanagan Skaha, Meritage (mixed grapes ($53 ($17/glass) Not much good, and definitely not worth it.Get it off your list.Desert: Crème Brulet ($12) Outstanding. A+Two things that made the dinner memorable, besides the food: 1) The presentation: A+. They must have a high-priced artist to make every item look most appealing. 2) The waitress, Oksana, the best anywhere, attentive, personable, knowledgeable, pleasant and professional to the highest degree.Will be back."

"Had an absolutely fascinating Chinese barbecue dinner in Yu Kee. Although service is by no means good, the top-notch food overcomes the place's shortcomings. The Cantonese style barbecues pork belly is crispy, tender and succulent. The taste is authentic and truly Hong Kong. The fried thick rice noodles with beef is also tasty. Price is very reasonable. Despite of its location, Yu Kee definitely worth a try."

"Congee noodle king 3313 kingsway, vancouver, bc w5r 5k6 are no longer there since covid. was early on at the bordering, decided to have a few congee to breakfast, one of the quintessential items for a Chinese breakfast. the restaurant is open at 10 o'clock! it is a...no frill Chinese restaurant, they had some reconfiguration of the tables done, not so tightly packed pre-COVID. the tables are nicely spaced, space looks much cleaner. if they are looking for congee. do not look further, this is the place! we ordered the large bowl of the dried oyster, the eggs of the century shredded pork. unfortunately they do not have the fried donut butter that goes well with cone. the congee was tasteful with ingredients, until the congee was thick like heel flakes. not complaining. 10 o'clock you can order fried noodles! it is a complete menu at such an early morning. we were happy with our congee."

"WORST BUFFET EVER!!!! I love Asian buffets, and have enjoyed hundreds. The Bite @ the Quay is by far the worst buffet I have ever ate. Poor quality of food, poor selection. Further, it advertised Dim Sum and snow crab, which they had neither. The Bite @ the Quay represents an EXTREME low for my Vancouver vacation that until now has enjoyed high marks for the food. My recommendation: eat anyway else but the Bite @ the Quay. If I could give negative stars I would do so. I hated this place so much I posted this review here, and Yelp."
