"We have been at the local Subway twice in the last two weeks. The first time we took a footlong roast chicken sub on grain wheat to split between us at home. We found the sandwich excellent. Today we took a footlong Beef Melt to...split between us and ate it in the restaurant. This being 2 PM on the Canadian Thanksgiving we found the place to be very busy. I have seen complaints in this column from people feeling too rushed in getting their service here today was very rushed and they had 4 people on the counter splitting the assembly work BUT if they had gone any slower in today 's rush then these same people would be complaining that the service took too long. The staff were doing a great job of handling the crowd. The sandwich was excellent. We had coffee today and I noted that it was individually prepared using a commercial model of Keurig coffee maker. Unfortunately the particular model they are using is just not capable of cycling the coffee fast enough and I ended up waiting too long to get the second cup of our order. As expected with Keurig, the coffee was great. I had the unfortunate need to use the men 's washroom facility today. I highly recommend that you plan to stop somewhere else for that purpose if at all possible since the washroom, which is shared with both the gas station and the tattoo parlour that are in the same building, was in a condition that left me amazed that the health inspector would give it a passing grade. The food is great, the service is fast and friendly, the prices are reasonable and they always seem to have some kind of off hour special for those on a budget who can meet their promotional schedule. "Godfather's is a chain pizza restaurant, take out only. However don't be put off by that, the pizzas are very good. Phone ahead and specify your ingredients and even if you ask that you want the pizza well done or what ever, that is what you will get in 15 minutes or less. Great crust, ample ingredients, friendly service. It is all you can expect from a take-out pizzeria."

"Absolutely fantastic small town pasta shop with a whole range of freshly prepared dishes from lasagna to seafood. Rounded by a complete catering menu with local products, a daily special board of fresh sandwiches, soups and salads, and a variety of vegan cuisine, you cannot go wrong here. I had served a salmon salad with fresh tomatoes and basil on an emperor roll, which was probably the best sandwich I had eaten in a few months. Filled with a yellow tomato gazpacho I was a happy man!"

"We spent a lovely evening in this cosy tavern and first enjoyed a good beer at the bar (a light 'Farmer's Daughter and the darker lokal brew). The food is amazing. We had Polish sausages and a 'Kashub Burger' - everything fresh and well made. The Poles in our group agreed: like home!Service was great, quick and friendly. We'd like to come back."
