"This restaurant has kind of grown on me.No frills, local Japanese restaurant that has pretty good quality sushi. Rice is seasoned well, fish isn't stringy at all, and the karaage comes in huge, steaming pieces! Chiraishi is usually my go-to and even the lunch size portion is still pretty filling. Straightforward. Easy. Just don't come here with a large party because the restaurant itself is pretty small (recommend four people max)"

"I came here to visit the tempel and also to eat in the cafeteria to taste their food. it is 8$ for ayce and cash only! it is cafeteria style, so they stack as much food as they want on their teller and go back for more, if necessary. eating is very vegan friendly, and there are always several ways to choose from. just expect nothing nice, but for $8 it is definitely worth trying."

"I found no welcome here from all of the people that were on the other side were employees here I did make a complaint and a request that they need to fix the table and I did this for the next customer that would sit on the table and realize that their table their food and their time just fell on the ground and if it was somebody older that wasn't so bendable and flexible what if there was an elderly or handicapped person that was by themselves that had a spill the money and the time on the line and with customer service that doesn't want to listen to you and pay attention to in regards to put up a sign if the table doesn't work I can move it aside why put it broken table for somebody to eat on it doesn't make any sense I felt very poorly at a five stars rating I'm giving a one but truely I believe in ? chances so I will take this as a learning experience and know that if I come back a month from now it won't be my money to come back for this service again. Thank u ."

"This place not only serves good food, but is one of some restaurants that Squid can cook directly in all dishes that can contain it. Melt not chew in your mouth, but spicy. My accomplice to the cook. A regular visit worth."

"Very good food! I ordered teriyaki chicken and steak. Everyone's meals came with soup (with tofu), salad and white rice. My husband ordered sushi which he said was very good. We also ordered Gyozas which were delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. We will be going back again and again."

"Well it has been over 10 years since I have reviewed this place. I was hesitant at first to come due to hearing that the ownership has changed. Glad to say that I was able to come by, try the food and say that the food is still fresh, and the experience is still great. When we went by around 11:45 on a Monday, me and my friend was able to get a table right away. Luckily we went earlier as the tables started to fill up. There was a lady server who was patient and very nice, and always came by to refill our green tea. Food Decided to try what I ordered a long time ago, the beef teriyaki combo and the Charashi Bowl. We were served right away a bowl of miso soup and green tea. The Beef Sashimi Combo was still awesome, and we were able to switch out the Albacore for more of the yellow tail and salmon. The beef was still great, always good to have some hot food too, because too much sashimi could be overwhelming. The Charashi bowl is STILL A MUST. Just packed with goodness, even sweet shrimp and scallop, even great to share with someone. Again I was happy to be able to revisit this placed and discover not much of the food has changed. Will definitely try to visit again if I am around the area! Until next time!"
