"I normally do not review restaurants but Toni and Sabine were such delightful hosts that I am motivated to write about my dining experience at their restaurant. First of all...he makes a great Aperol Spritz. Have one in the patio with a little homemade focaccia before you eat. Amazing!! Next I had some homemade pasta that was to die for... Followed by lamb chops that melted in my mouth! The restaurant is casual, 5 minutes from the beach promenade and full of pictures of Puglia! There is Sabine's photography of Matera and Puglia everywhere and the atmosphere is decidedly Italian. I highly recommend this place! Enjoy!"

"Basically this is more a grill than a tavern, service is nice and friendly but slow. We waited 20 minutes for the menu and the food takes its time to come out of the kitchen. We had a mixed Greek starter plate which seemed nice but was mostly consisting of salad, onions and pre produced/bought stuff like taramasalata, tomato sauce and aubergine creme. Main course was mixed grill platters which were quite alright but nothing over the ordinary. Be advised that credit cards are not accepted (not even EC/maestro) so make sure to bring some cash."

"Have come in this restaurant for the last 11 years or if we are ever on holiday in Kellenhusen, food is usually good I have no complaints, but the service has really gone down hills over the last 5 years, the waitress is the...daughter of the owner and has slowly taken over the restaurant, but she is not very polite and sometimes rude, we love it, coming into this restaurant, but have to think again!"

"At 6 p.m. for the same evening at 8 p.m. for two people ordered food. In fact, a little earlier was on site. After beaten 30 minutes delay (an order with 7 food was drawn in between) I then got my order. Short info between times and it wouldn't have been a topic... how it tastes anyway."
