"Very delicious food at reasonable prices with friendly service in a nice ambience. In short: 5 star update April 2018: noodles hard (not al dente), pizza floor hard, little covering, operation murky and slow. Shame!"

"Stunning decor , brilliant location, very picturesque surroundings . It was quiet , so you could soak in the ambiance . I've noticed someone has posted that the lasagna was phenomenal. Yes it was ...... not in a good way. It was disgusting . What Italian cooks lasagna with layers of ham and cheese and no Bolognese sauce? It was a moussaka dish minus the aubergine with pasta instead . Considering it was an authentic restaurant with Italian staff, Shame on you for serving this and destroying an Italian national dish. Anyone who enjoys it, has no taste"

"Wo kann man im März bei tollem Ausblick auf der Terrasse Essen und Trinken? Hier auf dem Gisiboden. Wir sind das erste mal wieder hier seit der Pächter gewechselt hat. Leider sehr wenige Gäste bei diesem tollen Wetter. Die Karte ist klein aber enthält ausreichend Gerichte für den Zwischenstopp oder nach einer Wanderung. Das Essen war lecker und reichlich, die Preise moderat. Klare Empfehlung, schon alleine wegen der Aussicht. Übrigens man kann auch direkt mit Auto anreisen und nur die schöne Aussicht und das Essen genießen."

"My wife and I stopped here with our dog (which was very welcome) last Saturday on our way into The Black Forest. The greeting was warm, menu comprehensive (usual pastas, pizzas etc) and the good came up quickly and hot...also massive portions!! All in all...for what it is, we had a lovely time there and will go back with the dog"

"Wir haben hier kürzlich einen kurzen Zwischenstopp gemacht, der sich gelohnt hat. Das Restaurant gehört zu den Naturparkwirten im Schwarzwald. Das heißt, es werden überwiegend regionale Lebensmittel verarbeitet. Das war eindeutig zu schmecken. Kässpätzle und Brandenberger Bratwurst waren sehr ordentlich und die Portionen ausgesprochen groß. Leider war nicht Zeit für mehr. Denn die Wild- und Forellengerichte sahen auf den Tellern der Nachbarn prima aus."

"On Friday it was for lunch and there was enough space (probably more crowded in the holiday season). eating was great and the staff was very friendly. the prices are very fair. for those who like it: the kartoffels in salat, where lukewarm, as they should be!"
