"Twice we've had been there for dinning, first time it was great; server did a superb job and the food was great, portions are generous, prices fair and the taste is very good. The second time the food was the very same but the server not so much, we are willing to give it a third try. I will be updating the post"

"I typically order take out from this restaurant because most times I've been here for dinner they've been pretty busy. Their burritos and tacos are some of the best around. Their tacos are well worth the money as they're pretty big tacos. 2 tacos willfill you up and 3 is more than enough on an empty stomach. Don't let the grocery store fool you from thinking that the foodhere isn't good. I'd recommend it to everyone wanting quality Mexican food. Burrito 5/5 Tacos 5/5"

"It is sad that after 15 years after Salsarita, I should leave this restaurant 1 star. not all salsaritas. only this one in hickory, nc 28601. would not be surprised to see someone who calls the better business bureau that this place is finally closed. a few months ago (2 april) the warm water heater closed to the restaurant and she kept the place open for 2 weeks that is illegal. they are not clean in cold water. I was also told that several people were right (7/23/22) working this week with covid and that a worker who hacked a lung for at least one week finally went and was tested and got positive results for the kovid. that does not prevent them from packing the burritos of men. also the tipping system for employees is broken while some get 200 dollars a paycheck, some recieve 0. based on their work. if they do not have a sanitizer to put in the feed water, they use bleach water for the last step of the washing process without rinsing it back. that went for a whole month, mere minimum. I could go on. they save their money and eat them somewhere else. trust me, this place is not worth it."

"Tried Rancho Viejo for the first time today. The food was good, pretty standard. I was feeling adventurous so I ordered a cucumber jalapeno margarita instead of a fruity option. It was hands down the best margarita I've ever gotten at a restaurant. I was worried either of the main ingredients would be too strong in the drink, but it had the perfect level of cool and spicy. It was very sweet, but that's how I prefer my margaritas so I was happy. I definitely plan on coming back, and the cucumber jalapeno marg will be my go to drink."

"Usually, the chipotle in Hickory makes really great with customer service and quality! But for this trip. It did not go as usual, the service was lack of gloss. You could say they weren't too excited to be at work. I also got food poison (imma hope thats it) and so I will begin on the wrong foot today. Please be tired!"

"Entrees: wings and fries, chicken tenders tossed in sauce and cheddar grits. 10/10 the food (not pictured spinach and artichoke dip with tortillas) Service is really mediocre and slacking just a tad. Ordered a beer and it was right next to us at the bar (we are at the high tops next to bar area) and didn’t get it for 10+ minutes, but was staring at it. Many people walked by it and saw it but didn’t want to help out our waitress. No one helps each other here and it is kinda the downfall of this place. Bathrooms need updated and renovated. Atmosphere is nothing fancy but I will say I like the music choices every time I come here. Overall I would recommend but just don’t expect too much."
