"It is a good pool side bar and grill. it is something on the expensive side, but that is to be expected what it is. the server was very fast and charming. my wife ordered the poke and I ordered the pulled gaysadilla with ananas salsa (sounds somehow strange, but was delicious). Both were very good. the drinks were tasty and strong and the lookout is beautiful."

"Verde is not your average Mexican restaurant. Generally, food is lighter and not loaded with heavy cheese and rice. Instead, light on the cheese and a bit more cabbage/in-law. Very delicious. The exchange was excellent. The coconut/mango vegan flan (caramelized with a torch) was decadent fantastic. Drinks are expensive and slightly weak. Prices are high and rice/beans are not included in the main meals."

"Great, friendly service my wife and I ordered breakfast, and part way through our meal they gave us some banana bread (not on the menu, I believe)! It was also fun to see them interact with the regulars (people who worked at the businesses that share the same building). The hot chocolate is excellent! Will definitely recommend to friends!"

"Fast food casual Mexican fare right of the main drag in Lihue. It was busy (always a good sign) but the 3 wait staff rocked it, working like a real team. The alcoholic drinks were really good. Loved the Mahi Mahi tacos. All fish dishes are market price. I think it was around $18. Don't be tempted to order the tres leche.... you'll be disappointed by the gummy texture, bland taste, small size and overpriced."
