"Sree Krishna is a firm favourite of mine when it comes to the curry scene in Tooting. It has long had a great reputation and for good reason The cuisine originates from Kerala, which boasts the accolade of being the spice capital of the world. So of course, the restaurant offers flavoursome dishes (at a good price). The service is always extremely attentive and the staff are more than happy to give recommendations on food and drinks, so don't hesitate to ask! The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, so would be a good choice for a date or family meal."

"I had booked Elephant Walk for a meal for ten on a Thursday evening. We turned up to find the door barred. When someone did come to the door they said that they couldn't serve us because something that happened meant they had no cutlery or drinks(!? . I then had to find an alternative restaurant who could deal with a walk-in group of 10. I found it appalling that (given they had my email and mobile number , they hadn't informed me they couldn't honour my booking. I would not go there again."

"We popped in for a quick lunch on a weekend and it was surprisingly empty they are apparently busier during dinner so I've been told... We ordered the Plain Dosa and Onion Rava Masala Dosa which was filled with potato masala and served with coconut chutney and sambar. We ordered one main curry dish to share which was the Chettinadu Aadu a lamb dish cooked in traditional Chettinadu masala. The portions were big enough for the both of us and we both particularly enjoyed the Onion Rava Masala Dosa (tasty and also really filling! Food was good, although I have to say that service was quite slow considering that there was only us and another table with two people. I would visit again if I ever needed another South Indian food fix."

"You have a lot of vegan options and usual with Indian foods it is hard to choose a dish because there are so many great options. Therefore I took the Thali (mix plate) for over 20€ to get a taste of everything. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. The quality of food has not fulfilled my expectations at all. They served the plate with Papadam above, which was already sown with the steam of food underneath, so it was very chewing instead of crispy. I also missed the variety of taste that I usually have of Indian food in each of the dishes."
