"There's a new menu and it was rather disappointing. I've been going there on Tuesdays for lunch as it's $3 taco day, but now there is a smaller choice (just 5) and there's only soft tacos, no hard ones. The 3 i chose, beef, pork and chicken, were very ordinary. Shame. I used to love going there for good quality tacos on Tuesdays. Not any more."

"Avoid this place as the plague. the three of us went to this restaurant tonight and were looking forward to a beautiful spicy Mexican meal. we entered an almost empty restaurant that found a table to our joy. we sat there, must have been about ten minutes. the girl behind the bar and the type that served on did not come where with us either a menu for eating or drinks. we left the girl behind the bar and gave me a big smirk."

"Me and my friends went there because one of our friends recommended the place for the food and service, but we were all very disappointed this time (was my second time there as well). They have a 2x1 offer on certain dishes on Tuesdays and we asked the waiter which ones were included before ordering, but at the end they gave us one bill and told us they couldn't apply the promo to all the dishes because it was one bill for the entire table and they could split it anymore to apply the promo for the rest of the order because of the system. We spoke to the manager and after explaining that the waiter never mentioned a thing about the bill and that we were clear when ordering we were looking for the dishes in the 2x1 offer he said it was our fault and we had to pay. He ended up giving us a free sangria jug, but his attitude was pretty rude and definitely is not nice to say to a client it's their fault when it's not. They were blaming the waiter that wasn't there anymore and that is not the right thing to do to a customer."

"We booked a business dinner at Toro Bravo for 12 people. The restaurant itself is well laid out and clean. We arrived a little late for our booking but it was no issue for the staff and they were happy to accommodate our needs.As we had a large group of people we opted to do share plate dining in true tapas style. We ordered from the normal menu rather than going for the banquet option as there were a few dishes not included in the banquet that we wanted to try.The food was quick to arrive after ordering and the quantities were perfect for sharing around - everyone got to try a bit of everything. The food itself was delicious and I couldn't pick out anything that we didn't like. We ordered Lamb & Haloumi Skewers, Beef meatballs, Spanish style potatoes, beans, Crumbed Calamari, Salmon, Chorizo and Potato Churros. The Churro's were very interesting as your mind is expecting them to be sweet but they were savoury potato based with salt and mayo.The service was very attentive and we did not go with empty plates or glasses at any stage of the night. We will definitely return again."

"Taking inspiration from San Francisco's active Mexican cuisine scene around the Mission District, Tuckeria - among several other joints - goes on to deliver something in the vein their famous burritos. This especially showcases that inspiration, having both of their outlets decidedly behind the scenes from the perspective of the main street. Nothing about Tuckeria is indicating that you are eating fancy fare, it is all about being in the back alley, among the cars, and with an aesthetic that will remind many of either the school-days tuckshop or some sort of canteen. In many ways, this has distinguished it to the point that it is as much its character, and many times when this is the character of the place, what you are in for is some pretty good fare. As is the case with Tuckeria, which is Brisbane's original McDaddy for how Mexican street food really works. <br>
