"We ate here a couple of times and it was fantastic.It's a little place set back from the beach next door to the KTDC Samudra hotel where we were staying. Highlights were the sear fish pollichathu, marinated in spices wrapped in a banana leaf and cooked in the tandoor. Absolutely delicious. Also the chicken Korai, which I've had in Indian restaurants at home, but this was in a completely different league; so tasty and tender.The menu is pretty extensive and Shivan is on hand to make recommendations and ask you how spicy you would like the dishes. Their tandoor skills are second to none in the area, and I'd say their food is the best we ate."

"I’ve loved the food everywhere we went so far on our trip in India untill this place. And I am not a picky eater at all. Regarding the flavour it was the dullest and most boring, almost like the chef gave up trying. We had the palak paneer that tasted like spinach with water and fried veg rice lacked any flavour, too. Dirty glasses as well. Maybe we caught them on a bad day as they had a reoccurring customer just behind us, but still. Not worth the local high prices."

"It might not look 100% appealing but once sat down inside we (family of 5) had such a fantastic experience. The staff was sooooo lovely and attentive, but the fish (especially the prawns) were simply the best. The atmosphere was alive and brilliantly. Served beer too which was a real bonus and took credit cards. Best meal in Kovalam."

"Great location overlooking the beach, restaurant has simple decoration but delicious food. We ate here on 3 occasions I would recommend the seafood platter , coconut fish curry and kerala fish curry. We also had vegetable pakoras all delicious."

"We were happy to find this vegetarian restaurant. They serve tasty Indian food. We used to get there excellent 'masala dosa' for breakfast and Paneer Kaday for dinner.Nice place, fine atmosphere and good food compare all these overpriced touristy restaurants at the main beach where we denied to return just after a few try."
