"Delivery time was great, can't expect a 5 minute turnaround on s Saturday, delivery bloke was nice and pleasant, booked and paid on line which makes it easier, Pizza's were hot, tasty, thin base was nice, I do like the hotter variety and mine was yummy... Thanks !!! :"

"Great cafe in a beautiful location - very busy on a Sunday morning as expected and as most cafes in the area are. Beautifully presented meals - we were a bit disappointed that the menu online was different than the menu in store. We came specifically for their highly praised porridge, which was no longer on the actual menu. We tried their poached pear-apple crumble - which was a fancy deconstructed version of a homely dessert meal. Probably too fancy and sweet for breakfast. We also had amazing pork & bean and a poached egg (shakshuka-like) dish - this one was a winner! <br>
Their meals were a generous serving and we'll be back to try their pancakes and standard-breaky-eggs meals ... and hopefully they'll bring back their porridge next winter!"

"Staff were so friendly and very engaging. Unfortunately the Wok noodle dish I chose was very lack luster. Over the top in noodles with limited chicken. Menu advertised "Asian greens" but really it was like pre-chopped out of a bag vegetables (and not many of...them) For a pop, this was very disappointing."

"Excellent coffee and pide bread, and my children tell me that hat the sausage rolls and muffins are good too. Having a roll made up means that it can be veganised (make sure you choose a plain wrap or roll as some have egg wash)"

"Not sure why it goes by a few names but please, decide which one it is, too confusing. I haven't been here before, but was pleasantly surprised with the good service and great meals served in Jack's Bistro. Good food and value for money. This...place is an old hotel, a little tired looking but has the old hotel ambience. Upstairs is the night club where we listened to a wonderful young singer Annabelle and her band, music was good and so were all the singers in the group. The area upstairs is very small with a bar on one side, small dance floor and a small area to sit. The floors were a bit shaky when people start to jump up and down with the music, I was worried it was going to cave in, lol. All up our friends and I had a great night."

"Visited for lunch. The female server was one of the most miserable I’ve ever come across. On the rare occasion she deigned to speak to us it was monosyllabic and muttered through a scowl. I didn’t tip because of this. Food however was wonderful and full of flavour, couldn’t fault any of the meals. We waited a long time though for our mains and the restaurant wasn’t busy. It’s also expensive. I would eat here again because the food was good my expectations about the service will be low."
