"We often meet family and friends for breakfast on the weekend and we thought we would give this place a try. We walked in looking for a table for 3. They were fairly busy but there was nobody else waiting. A few tables only had one person at them and some of the patrons clearly looked like they were close to finished. We figured it might be a short wait ... but after about 5 minutes nobody had even greeted us! Two servers had passed use multiple times but neither said a word to us. Not even hello. We just left and we will never attempt to eat here again!"

"My wife and I attended a wedding across the road from the Darlise Cafe, and with the recommendation from my wife's brother, we came for breakfast the day after the wedding. The restaurant was not too busy when we arrived (two couples) so we were seated quickly and were provided with menus right away. It was a little while before our orders were taken but the ordered coffee came right away. Most of our group enjoyed what they ordered, my order was poorly prepared. I don't know if my order was a one off (I had never eaten there before) but it was served incorrectly. I had ordered eggs over easy with white toast and received one egg over hard and one with a broken hard yolk with brown toast. If I had gotten this at home it wouldn't have bothered me, but when I pay $7.50+tax+tip, I expect it to be made right. I am not going to condemn this restaurant on one bad experience but if I return I will be making sure the order is right."

"The Grilled Chicken Salad sounded good on the menu, but it was terribly disappointing. It was just a large bowl of romaine, tossed with some balsamic vinegar. The grilled chicken was dry and difficult to eat. It tasted like the Kirkland grilled chicken that you can buy at Costco but reheated. There were two or three shavings of parmesan cheese and no walnuts to be found. I wish I had ordered a pizza."

"Went there for breakfast with my husband on sunday and the old washed up waitress with hair in a bun was flirting with my husband....it was very uncomfortable and because of her sleezy ways i will never be back and will tell everyone i work with at the school board about her actions....very unacceptable and disgusting. if she was trying to get a big tip she should have been nice to me the wife not the husband...she has issues"
