"If i could give this place a 6 star, i would have. We ordered deluxe sashimi, 4 bluefin tuna supertoro sushis, 2 madai sushis, 2 kinmedai sushis, and 2 negitoro temakis. The deluxe sashimis were comparable to what I had in Osaka, especially the ika and hotate. The bluefin tuna supertoro sushis were out of this world. Fatty, complex, and super delicious. The negitoro temaki was the best I have ever had ???, even compared to the ones I had in Osaka, Kyoto, and Awaji Island. Apparently the chef added bluefin tuna supertoro inside the negitoro temaki. Definitely unforgetable experience, especially with Hugo's exceptional service. I wonder if we have another hidden gem like this in Greater Vancouver!"

"Had dinner with the wife. Waiter brought the wrong size dish and the manager insists on us to pay the full price. Manager commented " I dont care if you dont come back." Diners beware! Food was ok, service was atrocious!"

"This place delivers every damned time I go there. Granted, it's reflected in the price but you pay for what you get- quality sushi. The decor is also super dreamy for anyone into Iron Maiden and that kind of music. Definitely one of the best places to go for sushi in PoCo Coquitlam and even makes my list for Vancouver. This is NOT one of those roll places where you get like... A crazy girl roll or some pimped-out california roll. This place is the real deal. I mean, if you don't know what omakase is, this place probably isn't for you."

"I have been to this restaurant many times in the past with family and friends. The food was consistently good. They are normally busy. Recently we went back for their Dim Sum and added some things as well. It was clear to us that either they have a new cook or they are no longer the place they used to be. Food was mushy and two dishes undercooked. The chow mein noodles were lacking sauce and very dry. Spareribs were not servable and were undercooked. Another dish was also undercooked. When we walked in around lunch the place was almost empty. Not the usual busy place. That should have tipped us that things were different. Given the fact we have been to this restaurant many times before you know when things are not right. This was one of those not right times. Hopefully in the future if we return we find this was simply an off day. Things need to improve for sure."
