"Had not been out for dinner in a really long time. We were in town for a couple days and finally had the opportunity to go for dinner. G&P has always been one of my favourite restaurants to go to. I ordered the halibut, which came with veggies and rice. The halibut was very over cooked and dry, the veggies had no taste as did the rice. Most disappointing meal I have every had at GP. Not sure if I will be going back. It's not cheap and when u you spend the money you expect a good dinner. The service was very good except when I requested a booth I was told they were not available. The whole time we were in the restaurant nobody occupied the booths so not sure why we were told that we couldn't have one.....felt like I was lied too."

"Only drawback was the noise. Some curtains or noise proofing would be a definite plus. Both food and service were outstanding and made up for it. I will definitely return!"

"Just collected take-away. Cold doughy spring rolls, pork sweet and sour dripping in fat; paper bag containing pork saturated in fat. Very ordinary sauce. Duckling and vegetables - mostly mushrooms very little duck."

"Top notch. high quality food cooked for perfection. it is a very unlikely looking place, but wow, do not miss this place if they appreciate a quality meal. I had the scallop risotto, my wife tried the morel mushroom gnocchi and we shared a flower cabbage steak, everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. the cocktails were great and they seem to use a good amount of local ingredients that is always a bonus. if they are looking for a low price, this is probably not the place for them. but if you're ready to spend a few dollars to get some of the best food you've ever had, that's the point. While their prices for some people feel high, nothing was overpriced and everything was more excellent when considering how good it is. we'll eat here again when we're in the opposite."
