"Wife and I just have the chance to try the shrimp shack and we loved it absolutely. the restaurant was very clean an organized, the service was overwhelming and the eating was excellent. baked oysters, garnels and crabs and fried garnels with lush puppies and collars. all delicious and fresh. definitely recommend when looking for fresh and well prepared fried seafood."

"First time in the Cary location. Been several times at the Northern VA ones. The parmesan crusted rainbow trout is as yummy as ever. Finished it off with their seasonal white chocolate, coconut key lime cake. Delish!"

"Seemed short staffed, though hardly any patrons. Our waiter was not very attentive and also slow…almost rude?? The couple across from us seemed displeased with their meal as well. My husbands food not very good and def not worth the $29 price tag. No TP in one of the stalls in ladies room, no soap in one of the dispensers. To top it all off my husband saw one of the kitchen stuff use the bathroom and did not wash their hands after. Not sure we will go back. Too bad as they used to be really good."

"We tried the new shuckin shack on tryon rd. as expected, eating was excellent. my father-in-law and I shared the steam boiler saul t. it has a nice variety when all my favs. I could literally eat this day. I love the new location. super beautiful server and barkeeper."

"The manager was friendly and attentive. our waiter has not imagined, tell us the specials, back to our table to check on us, apologize for our appetizer, which takes about 40 minutes to get to our table or look at everything to wait or make bad service. the manager returned and was very apologetic and finished our appetizers for free. he asked for our feedback to eat and service and seemed really worried. overall, keeping our waiter had a very bad taste in our mouth."
