"Kensington Street is an up and coming food Street in Sydney with a variety of food options. I visited Automata this evening and tried their 5-course set menu. Service was excellent, the team was friendly, affable and helpful. I like how they smile and attend to each and every diner patiently. I have visited several fine dining spots before Automata. I can remember the tasty potato bread with daishi at Ester, the confit trout at Tetsuya's, the Japanese stones at Sepia or the Granny's apple at Lumi. However, I find that there may be nothing at Automata which is memorable. Food is not bad and they were wonderfully prepared. I like how the main dishes were served warm and the dessert is served cold. Some restaurants have pre-prepared their food and it's annoying to take your food at room temperature (20 degrees).
