"... so the victoria inn was not only the place for my birthday dinner, but also our first food adventure in cornwall they had quite much pressure on them. the victoria inn is located in the small village perranuthnoe, the victoria inn looks like a traditional village pub from the outside, the only note that it gets about the quality is the variety of accolades displayed in the windows. After he has been conducting some research since then, it turns out that the chef, stew, trained with names like raymond blanc and michael cains, plus, as their website understandably boast, has reached recognition in all important food guides since 1998. pretty impressive qualifications! by tradition"

"Really epic eating! seriously good, serious eating. in no case pub food. The only place I eat is the gurnards head. I am now in tolcarne twice, this juni (2015) and november 2014. when I sleep, I dream of the surf and razor bowl here in november. bratbeef with baked cod on maische. I've never smiled so much when I'm handed over with food when I die and drive into the sky, they'll serve. to serve so great food created with such a craft and joy in such a relaxed environment is a real privilege. thanks. fabulous and recommended."

"The restaurant is located in the historic Chapel road of penzance and is great/ while it is not specifically a vegan/veggie restaurant, the choices for plant-based esser are amazing! we had the color and the baked celeriac and both were so delicious. two fab vegan pudding options to rhubarb nuts crispy and caramelized banana with apple calvados sorbet. highly recommended."

"Beautiful Italian restaurant overlooking Penzance Bay. My husband and I came in next to the Queens Hotel and we were not disappointed. All meals were delicious and friendly staff .. felt very secret.. Aniya was so nice in conversation and gave us great tips for our trips. Would definitely recommend for some delicious Italian delicacies in a relaxed and cozy environment."

"A lovely restaurant with small bar and relaxing lounge area. The décor makes for a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are welcoming and attentive. The menu offers dishes of a high standard and there's plenty of components to each plate making up for a lack of huge variety in each course. I would absolutely rate The Cornish Barn 5 stars were it not for the fact my girlfriend asked for her steak to be cooked medium and it came to the table rare. The waitress was quick to correct this but I expect more and am of the opinion every chef should know how to cook a steak to order. A small blemish on an otherwise lovely evening."

"Hidden gem in the southwest England. So glad we came. We had the 7 courses tasting menu. It was absolutely amazing experience with highlight followed by another highlight. The food has complex layers of different flavour and texture, with influence from various cultures..Japanese, Chinese, Indian, South American, yet surprisingly beautifully blended together. My personal favourite is the strawberry desert with basil sorbet..impressive piece of art. Thank you Bruce!"

"Came here in August for our first wedding anniversary and the staff it was amazing. The staff were incredibly welcoming, they even put a card on our table to congratulate us and were incredibly helpful with my wife’s dairy intolerance. The food was out of this world! 48 hour slow roasted belly pork which at first didn’t look it was going to be enough, turned out to be plenty! But the real treat we’re the sweet potato and pork cheek croquettes, whoever created those little morsels deserves a pat on the back! We will definitely be coming back to this hidden gem on Queen street."
