"I was staying at the Macquarie Waters Apartment Hotel and The Corner is attached to the lobby. They open early 7-12; then for dinner 6-8. The coffee is great (Campos) and the early opening time is super convenient."

"We went to Scampi’s on January 2nd for lunch had the seafood platter for two. It was amazing especially the crab which was served up in a chili-chutney sauce. The service was excellent the views looking over Town Beach were sensational. What was pathetic is that when we turned up there was a sign up that said the restaurant was fully booked. By 1.30 pm it was clear most of these parties had not turned up hadn’t bothered to cancel, which was confirmed by the waitress. These people are trying to earn a living and this type of behaviour is unacceptable. What are these people thinking? Thanks for a great day Scampi's – we will definitely be back."

"Whenever in Port Macquarie, the place to go to for seafood is Port Macquarie Seafood. All fish is cooked fresh while you wait. The batter is perfect, chips are not fatty and the price is very reasonable."

"Might have caught them on a bad day, but the batter the fish was cooked in was terrible. Dripping in oil so much I could not taste the fish. Can't see myself going back in a hurry."

"The waitress was A Class. She couldn't do enough to satisfy us. Straight away we were presented with an option for still or sparkling water then my steak was a little tough as the kitchen was in a temporary set up and she ran to get me another one then checked to make sure it was to my satisfaction. Even though the hotel was under renovations and the restaurant had a temporary set up (and perhaps Chef) we still enjoyed our night due to the lovely service."

"So many places closed. Where to eat, where to eat? Aqua absolutely fitted the bill.Beautiful hot hot fresh baked lamb dinners - just like Mum's. Thank you Aqua you were a life saver and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience with you. Dining stall all lovely."
