"Terrible service and only 1 server. There were several tables. We came in and no one sat or addressed/ welcomed us. No smile, no Hellos. We asked the bartender if we sat down, he said yes. After 20 minutes no one waited to get an order. On the far side of the restaurant is a grill, so we thought we should go to the grill itself and order - but the man Grill said no, someone should take our order. We flew the 1 man down, and I said we're here near 30 minutes, you can take our order. Finally he came by and we ordered 3 burgers with frits. But of course, to get drinks, water-anything was always a 20-minute procedure! It's hard to enjoy your food when you have to get up constantly, or your children get up and find the waiter!! Bartender was just rude. Here's the sad part... the burgers were AMAZING! But for the bad SLOW service and IGNORED, I will not return!! I have many American dollars and will spend them elsewhere - maybe in Callejon over the street!!! I was in Westin from 4-19 thru 4-23. All reception and administration as well as the Cascada staff must be retrained in the manner of customer service! A. Texeira"

"We were at noon one day, only six of us and we loved it. I had the tropical scallops and the taste was amazing, the lemonade we order was in a larger glass than other restaurants we were, I also had a...ice cream as dessert and it had a very good taste and good presentation. Prices are very reasonable and meals are large portions. There is a lot of parking around them, and it is in a very good location, if you are lucky, you will find parking right ahead. So, on our last day in Vallarta we all stopped there (a group of 17) for lunch, we thought they would take longer with our orders, but service was great, this time I had the coconut shrimp and was so delicious! I don't know what everyone had, but we were all satisfied with our meals. By the way, there is a chalkboard to keep the kids busy."

"First time at Jorge’s. A great experience. We arrived without a reservation for Friday night, and they were very accommodating. (Probably a good idea to get reservations, especially during high season.)Food is delicious, portions are not overwhelming and priced right. I had the salmon and my wife had the coconut shrimp. Delish! One of the best restaurants in Puerto Vallarta."

"What a pleasure to return to this charming Bistro which has been consistently good for many years. Under the twinkling lights of the peaceful garden with lovely French and timeless American classic music wafting from inside it’s an oasis. We enjoyed two classics, escargots and soupe à l’oignon gratiné. Both were excellent as was the cheerful service of our server Carla. Can’t wait for November to return with friends."
