"We went there for a meal and most of us ordered the fish and chips except for my grandson who wanted to try lobster in the worst way. We had to place our order at a counter and seat ourselves. They then called your receipt and we had to go back and pick up our food. It seemed like we barely sat down We didn’t care for the batter they put on the fish.....it was like fish sticks My grandson took one bite of the lobster and gagged (end of his lobster wish The rest of us got a taste of the lobster but nobody really cared for it"

"We went for lunch at Captain Dan’s, the food (Lobster Roll Haddock and chips) were well done and presented. The environment at the patio on the second floor was very nice overlooking the marina."

"My wife was there years ago, and was highly looking forward to show me this high end facility, booked well in advance for our anniversary, with a package, stay and dine type. The welcoming was adequate, and the room was quite nice to be in,...confortable and view of the Main Street and ocean. Diner was superbe as well as the service, music was nice but extremely loud for the setting, we visited the town and upon our return, noted that the room was not service, no new towels, no toilets paper etc, had to request it. Second diner was the same, loud music we had friends with us and had to yell so we could have a conversation, not the right setting for sure. With this type of inn, we expected a higher level of care, no nap on table, however the service at diner was great, always with a smile. Food was excellent, the inn is a beautiful hotel with heritage however the decorations of semi modern looks, might appeal to a younger population, and the loud music, you make you own assessment as I for one will not recommend to my friends."

"Popped in here for a quick lunch on a rainy day. Family of 6 had everything from a lobster roll to poutine, to scallops and shrimp. Didn't try the clams. Poutine was great. Lobster roll, scallops and shrimp were good. Everything else(hot dogs, chicken strips) were what you would except for such fare. We would go back!Also, washrooms were very clean."

"Working on my friend's boat we always decide to go there because the food is great there's many choices in the Shediac area but we always choose to go over there.I always seem to get the fish and chips or a lobster roll my friend likes the poutine rappy everything he never seems to amaze me he pick something different every time and then Raves about it myself I don't like Maite so therefore I stay with what I like fish and chips."

"What a relief to find a place to eat that doesn't smell of frying or grilling in Shediac. I went with my husband and sister on a rainy day in August. The building is a delightful, the servers attentive and the food arrived quickly. I had a vegetable soup and the others had the sea food risotto. We didn't have dessert but I noticed other people tucking into some interesting cheese cake........ If I ever find myself in this town again, I would head for lunch here. The price was very reasonable too."
