"Great chips and potato cakes. We always get the crumbed flake and grilled blue grenadier. The grilled blue grenadier is firm, not soggy. Can't fault them, and they're lovely people too. Better than your average fish and chips."

"We dine here pre Williamstown Little Theatre 5 times a year and have not been disappointed. Good solid pub grub. A $20 porterhouse steak was enjoyed by several of our group of 6 diners and none voiced any concerns, good potato mash but tge vegies were a bit light on, still for $20..... The burgers are large and flavoursome with obligatory chips $16/18 and the fairly standard pub menu often has little tweaks to add a little something to stand out from the many other pubs in the area. House wine was not too bad (comes free as part of a theatre ticket deal) but prices are not excessive anyway. They have the local Spotswood Two Birds Golden Ale on tap which scored brownie points with the beer drinkers in the group. Service is generally good but not exemplary, staff made some errors on the bill but fixed without too much fuss. The dining room was booked out on our sat night visit so recommend you book. Definitely worth a look."

"Visited here on a Saturday night in December, sat in the bar area at a high top. Good band, (Bad Whiskey), nice crowd. I've eaten here numerous times before and have had their veal, lamb chops, and filets, and am so impressed with how good the food is, for as large a restaurant as this is, plus they are on local flavor, which can be a sign of a struggling restaurant. Veal is always tender, lamb chops were always perfectly seasoned and cooked to a medium rare, and filet also, tender and perfect medium rare. Filet Sinatra also contained a good amount of jumbo lump crab. This place also has a very good inexpensive Italian wine list, of bottles in the mid 20's, especially from the northern part of Italy. Service is always fair to good. This is definitely my go to bar, dinner, bottle of wine, entertainment hangout."
