"Un peu coincé, en randonnée, il était tard et beaucoup de restos étaient fermés. On avait faim et ce restaurant n'est pas du genre que je fréquente habituellement. À raison...Oie de la Saint-Martin, parce que c'est un plat de saison, trop cuite, sauce insipide, manifestement industrielle et trop longue, le tout facturé au même prix que d'autres oies, excellentes quant à elles. Et je ne parle pas du chou rouge servi en accompagnement....On n'a pas pris de café, on a payé vite fait, et bye bye.Quand la serveuse m'a demandé si c'était bon (c'est la règle en Allemagne), j'ai dit non et les raisons. Elle nous a bien fait la tête; alors qu'elle n'y est pour rien.Donc service tout aussi médiocre que la cuisine.Le restaurant quant à lui est plutôt joli et typique de ce genre d'établissement en Forêt Noire."

"The host people are totally hospitable and always open for a conversation. The food tastes excellent, better you can not cook at your own stove. Were there 3 evenings and were never disappointed. We will really miss this inn"

"Das Essen war vom Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Wir hatten Kalbschnitzel und Dorade an Rosmarinkartoffeln. Beides sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!"

"I arrived late in the city on a Sunday night, I don't speak German, but a close one lady who spoke to me on the streetcar that was called into the restaurant in my name to make sure I wasn't hungry. we were from. the railway station collected by the ladies young neighbors and they left me in the restaurant, where a beautiful meal awaited me with a very beautiful large beer! it was excellent. the personal was charming and hospitable, the chef friendly and welcoming also. the decor and the ambiente were there. this was a perfect introduction to the black forrest, late on a Sunday night and I could not have been better treated. After I had paid, the waiter took his bosse car keys and gave me up to my final goal, they can not better than that! excellent. I hope another day."
