"We love this place for its soups. It's part of La Fonda, next door. They make many different kinds of soup even though only three are on the menu at any given time. We have liked all of the soups we have had in the past - tortilla, chicken noodle, tomato. Today I tried something that kind of worried me - beef with poblano chile - but it was so good I had to come home and write this. A simple broth nicely flavored by poblano, carrots, and onion, over rice, cubed potatoes, and beef chunks. Just really good."

"I keep reading about the Tacon de Marlin near the airport but this is for their second location on Honduras street. I went here one afternoon for lunch and was blown away by the quality and quantity of the food, not to mention the low...price. I went here the next day for lunch to try it again and was not disappointed. I would suggest you try the smoked marlin burrito. However, don't wait until late in the day because I believe they close around 5 or 5:30 pm."
