"This is the best place for hot chips.Not only are the staff smart enough to put holes in the paper bag so they don't go soggy, they taste clean rather than too oily. quantity/value is good.The potato cakes actually taste like they have potato in them but could use more potato.Most the other "seafood" takeaway in Latrobe Valley serve deep fried batter filled with mushy flour and oil, thats not a potato cake! Come on potato is cheap, no excuse for messing that up.The big downfall I am sorry to say given fish and chips is my favourite..All the seafood tastes terrible. TERRIBLE. How could this be? near perfect chips, better potato cakes but terrible fish & scollops that give me the runs. All in all I would go back for the chips."

"I had booked an dinner in advance and the restaurant was pretty busy. we ordered from a separate vegan menu that had nine items. I found both the chana masala $19) as well as the lenses,- wild and spinach soup $18) beautiful, but only not entirely up to the silent level that is needed to match their spices. they were good, just not. I do not often desserts, but wait carefully for the wind and had the vegan pancakes that were delicious, but took me over the edge. I'll come back next time I'm in town."

"Even a fresh coat of paint could not distract from the surly staff, rude redirection to the proper cash register to order at, and the abysmal food at the end of it all. For a Friday evening the shop was not particularly busy, with more...staff than cooking stations, bumping into each other. The order took an inordinate length of time to be made, but with the order comprising fish, chips, hamburger and other fried bits, it was cooked at different stations by various staff and was a good 20 minutes from the first part being ready till the whole order was finally handed over. The chips seemed to be dregs from the bottom of somewhere, not a single one longer than an inch, soggy and as first part cooked, cold and greasy by the time we got to eat. Could have done an grease and oil change on the car with the balance of the fried stuff, undercooked, soggy potato cakes, a spring roll that could only be described as disgusting and according to the partner the worst hamburger she has ever been served. Do yourself a favour, chew the bark of the tree out front rather than buy the food inside the Blue Bay Fish and Chip shop in Traralgon."

"We had luck to stumble over google in this restaurant. we ordered pork belly and soft bowl cock! both had to die. very tasty. we highly recommend. the personal is very friendly and accommodating. when they go through traralgon, they fall in and eat them in zaab zaab. we guarantee it 100!% service: dine in meal type: dinner"

"We attended a birthday function at this restaurant. The function room and bar are well set out with plenty of tables and seating, making it a very comfortable space. Finger food was served. The small pieces of cut up pizza was inedible and the alternative was a variety of deep fried frozen goods. If this is a sample of what they serve in the restaurant, I certainly won't be giving it a try in the future"

"Not locally welcome. rude, very rude staff. there was a function and we realized there could be a delay. the restaurant staff gave them the feeling that they were like a second tariff and the bar staff were uninterested. this rsl brings the brand on all levels and should not be recommended as a walk to the venue. in the round this is a member place and if they do not know that their judge. not nice people."
