"Another downtown gem! Walked in after another restaurant had issues opening and was seated right away. Calamari appetizer was wonderful well prepared with a couple different doing sauces. Lemongrass pork and Godzilla roll were tasty. We'll be back!"

"I don't even know where to start..drove from Virginia Beach with my wife to check out some local attractions and this was one, the GM was really cool and even jumped in on my video I did for Facebook, we got seated and Danielle waited on us, explaining how everything worked and keeping our plates and water filled at every opportunity, she was amazing as was every other person that came by our table, I got the unlimited snow crab option which includes everything and my wife got the 3 crab platter which everything was 100 percent perfect! As a Google Guide, I review quite a few places and Averys gets 5 stars and plus 5 more! GO AND SEE!"

"We like eating here constantly, always crowded and the food is good, but when you order invance your food should be ready .sometimes they for get to put the sauce so mine was dry it was hard to eat because I have had neck surgery and a fusion so it's hard to swallow anything dry or over cooked. But it's good food."
