"My husband and I went to Orchid Sushi yesterday for dinner and we were very surprised at how good it was! It is so hard to find a good sushi place in Ottawa. We are used to eating the best sushi in Montreal and it's been hard to find a place here. But now we have found the place to go to! And the chef and owners were super nice!! And it's very reasonably priced! We'll definately be heading back there soon for my brothers birthday!"

"I ordered fresh oysters, crab cakes and seafood linguine. They are all delicious and well presented. The sauce for the crab cakes was amazing and I liked it very much. The prices are reasonable in terms of the portion and quality."

"I love out of the way, proverbial hole in the wall restaurants. some of the best foods can be found on these sites. While we drove through the ByWard market, we discovered this place and thought we'd grab some ramen bullets. I thought it was good, but unfortunately it wasn't. the broth was much too salty, hardly any sweet, no egg, and the flesh was full of fat and gristle and literally made me gag and finally try to chew it and force me to swallow it. it was just a huge branch. we also ordered a pad thai with huh asked after no odours (it was full of odours), and the hen was just as fat and gristly as the bark in the rhomon shell."

"It gives the feel of small Japanese restaurant you would come across in the rural part of Japan. The food is delicious and the service was also awesome. I recommend.Kid-friendliness: Note that they do not have a changing table for babies in any of their toilets. There is also no option for babe food, so plan ahead.Parking: Depending on the day and time, the street parking is either free or you need to pay for it! Additionally, it is pretty hard to find parking right next to the restaurants. If you are unlucky, you might want to consider a 5-8min walk from the restaurant to find appropriate parking."

"Just in the city for a few days, we wanted to thank our Ottawa hosts for putting up with us for the weekend and so took them here last Saturday night. The meals were delicious, Chirashi Zushi, Royal Combination, Tempura Combination, and Katsu dinners were beautifully presented and VERY tasty. The folks around us joined in the musical enjoyment presented by the two Jazz musicians; sax/flute and guitar players. Thank you for the meal and experience. We'll be back when next in Ottawa."
