"We went to this restaurant for lunch about 2:30, in late September. Service was wonderful, and food was delicious. I had a coupon which gave us one free dinner and then I paid for the other. No pressure to leave after we ate. We just...sat there and talked. A few people came in, were served and left. We left with purchasing food for dinner for a couple of people back home. Thoroughly enjoyed service and food, and the surroundings were clean and nice. We will be going there again!"

"We discovered this gem after our favourite Chinese food place changed ownership 3 times in a year. We found them in our local plaza no less. The food is always spot on and the portions extremely generous. And most importantly consistent. WE love to do...a $5.25 lunch special which is healthier and less expensive than McD's. And we always take home left overs. The little patio is cute. I recommend the BBQ pork ribs.. they are huge and very meaty, worth every penny."

"When we entered Captain George's to try their All You Can Eat lunch, we were enthusiastically greeted by the owner, who took our order quickly and sat us down. It's a fish and chips restaurant, so it's as you'd expect nautical decorations, bright colours and...lots of lighting. While the seating was hardly luxurious, the fish and chips were top notch. The only thing keeping us from coming more regularly is it's proximity to one of the worst intersections in York Region... Yonge St. and Aurora Road. With the traffic lights and turning issues to the Go-Train traffic, getting to Captain George's can sometimes be a pain. And that's too bad, as their fish is great."

"We have been going here for years....it is our " go to" place for Thai. The selection is good, prices reasonable and quantity fair. My favourite is their curry. Red, yellow or green, all are good. Red I like the best with the smooth sauce and variety of vegetables. We order a bowl of steamed rice too! Bento box with Soup is perfect at lunch. Service friendly and the little slices fresh orange at the end finishes things off nicely."

"Whenever the craving for fish & chips arrive, we're off the Stanley's. Portion sizes are generous. Fish is always cooked to perfection. Love that you can get gravy for the fries and we never go without mushy peas! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. One day we'll try something else on the menu, but its hard the fish & chips are great."
