"I was on travel to NSA and looked for a good restaurant. Saltine’s came up so I thought I would try it. I had oysters which had a unusual taste but I put there “vinegar/shallot/garlic “ on it and it was great. Tried them wit horseradish and hit sauce and stir great. I the had the swordfish. It was wonderful; tender on the inside but a little crispy on the outside. The way I love it! The banana cream pie Pudding was absolutely fantastic! I will return. Parking was hard and I had to walk in an area tag was a bit sketchy. No valet parking available. It was a bit noisy from the bar."

"Tidewater Seafood Company, Norfolk, VA. I've seen this place for some time and I'm finally going to get some seafood from this place. I wasn't even so hungry, so I got like a Whiting Sandwich and Pommes. So the diligent fish I like was quite 2 pieces on a larger hot dog beer. Nothing else. No salad, no sauces of any kind, nothing. For $8 bucks, you can wear it a bit. Like 2 people working: an Asian woman and an Asian guy. Probably married. But in order to keep the cost low, they don't hire anyone to help how shred some salad or together some Cole Slav or have hot sauce, malt vinegar and tartar sauce available that would make what I had a sandwich. Gas has gone down, buy some of these spices from the other side!!! The sandwich wasn't even good. All right. They gave 2 packets of tartaric acid. Pretty embarrassing for me! I have seen many of these “Seafood” places run by Asians. I mean, I love seafood, but there is not much attention to detail. Only an Asian person who yells at you because you do not understand the English language they speak."

"The vegan options change from what I can say and are always listed on the board at the front door. I have an early peasant with a cheese and a big sausage patty. If I'm honest, there's only something I don't trust as full vegan. the side of the hathbrowns who had pointed to real beef flavor had asked me everything. well try, but add some salsa for taste or something, I don't know. Thank you, but I won't come back."

"I ordered through Grubhub Vietnamese spring rolls was beautifully wrapped and delicious with the dipping sauce. Minor complaint is that the shrimps you see were halved so you don’t get much shrimp meat and flavor. Pho Dac Biet was delicious. Since this was a takeout, they cooked the sliced beef just right; great job modifying the dish for take out. They did give decent amount of sliced beef, tendon, and veggies. I would like another slice of lime since I want that sour tart flavor to contrast with the beef broth. Overall, definitely will order from this place again."

"Basic food made right! I am empty of corn bread in restaurants always too fluffy and much too sweet that is the best maize bread you will get in a restaurant it dinner, not dessert. More substance, moist, with just the right amount of sweetness. The crust is perfectly caramelized. The grits offwhite, slightly creamy with a little texture, just the right amount of taste. The greens were good, with a small kick, like a good house cooked meal. I had the oysters, tried the catfish and the shrimps. Many fried foods here, but the oil must be super hot; food is served without fat on the plate or your fingers. I am a fan of cabbage, and I am always disappointed at the overcooked limp servings at most restaurants this was super light crunchy with minimal seasonal, very light taste This is a place that lets the food speak for itself the kitchen is all about the improvement of flavors, not dominate them"
