"One of my top 3 favourite restaurants... have always had an awesome night here. It does get a bit loud down there and there is definitely no lack of good atmosphere.<br>

"An eye fillet steak meal was nicely decorated, but it was the worst meat I've ever seen, it wouldn't have even fed my dog! I have my care with the waiter who spoke to the cook to confirm that it was the right kind of meat. I was still not satisfied and asked me to talk to the manager, I was made to wait half an hour before he came out of that time, they had put the record down. I then put this on the service with the manager who said he could not help me with my complaint, not even a refund or another meal bad customer service this afternoon."

"Seriously Inconsistent. Management must not be great as staff turn over appears really high. Its a local, so you'd expect good consistency. But alas. Not. I've had great meals here, but at least half the time it's terrible. Like the time they doubled the volume and played VERY loud music randomly in the dining room halfway through dinner. Or when they served half a table while the others waited 20 minutes... The Pizza's are really good and wood fired. I actually feel sorry for the chef. If they're consistent, they're talented. But the rest is lack luster. Today $30 for fish of the day; inedible fish, a pile of chips with wilted salad. Why not just get the $19 fish and chips...? Fish...read more"

"I often stay at the lovely Oaks on Margaret above this bistro so often grab a quick breakfast or dinner here. I has the "small" breakfast last Friday and it wasn't that at all! Great eggs, sausage, loads of bacon toast and grilled tomato-all for $11.95. Other treats are the eggs benedict though you can go a little more healthy if you can resist temptation! At night I will grab a steak and glass of red wine-always excellent steak with veges and great value. The Beef and Guinness pie is a favourite of my occasional guests and they do an excellent chicken mignon. I agree with other travellers it is not an extensive menu but it covers a good range, is quick and friendly and suits the person travelling for work who doesn't want an event just a great dinner"
