"The food is grossly overpriced for what is is. for a cheese sandwich on ‘everyday’ bread, a scrape of margarine and some grated cheese, a handful of ‘everyday’ crisps and a very very small salad cherry tomato and slices of cucumber) without...dressing. A cheeseburger that was literally dripping fat, with onions that were specifically asked to be omitted served in a very dry bread bun with the same salad as the sandwich. At least the fries were okay! . These were both second choices because the spicy bean burger wasn’t available. When asked if they could make an egg sandwich it was too much trouble, even though ham egg was on the menu so the egg was readily available. On the plus site the tea, coffee and were fine. All in all very disappointing after previous visit. Different management? We won’t both again and I strongly recommend you save your money and go elsewhere."

"Recently changed hands. We have made two visits in the last week for lunch. New additions to the menu have not dissppointed. Delicious pulled pork bap on one visit and a spicey minestrone soup yesterday. This is turning in to a lunchtime habit! Good quality,...home cooked food by lovely staff who are passionate about their blossoming business."

"Deserves more than stars it has. Lovely, friendly staff. Cakes (gluten free etc). I had iced, oat latte. Food to buy in shop looked good. Quiches etc. Lovely location in Norfolk countryside."

"It is very unusual to find a place that is not packed full on a Sunday these days but the Northrepps seems to have suffered a bit of a set back of late since there seemed to be nobody else lunching apart from ourselves. Despite the fact that there were so few Customers the food and the service was very good and certainly still as good as we have experienced there on previous occasions so it seems strange to find the place so deserted. Well worth a visit on the basis of our experience"

"We had some cake on walk which was delightful. They were so helpful with wife. She had a little bit of a turn and they went out their way to look after us. This was a lovely outing and something that was very nice indeed thank you"

"Brilliant service, great bar menu just what a local pub/restaurant should be. We also do Thia night on a Wednesday and the Sunday roast occasionally, always on site. Would be a real shame if, as rumor has it, these won't be available after the Chestnut group reset the menu. Only time will tell"

"Fabulous lunch in the garden with friends. 3 x fish and chips and asparagus and poached egg starter. All well presented and tasted great. Always a great welcome. Sadly the pub and restaurant are both pretty quiet considering it is a Bank Holiday weekend. Could I suggest a review of your pricing which probably excludes many from coming."
