"Every city has their local institution when it comes to food and Sergio’s is one of them in Miami. Inspired by Cuban cuisine, they have been serving their customers since 1975 and when my friend suggested we would go there for breakfast I was delighted. They have several locations and we went to the one in Coral Gables. The decor is very rustic and you feel the family type environment when you walk in. It’s nothing fancy but it feels very welcoming."

"We went yesterday for a late lunch for Easter Sunday. Got there a little early and sat at the bar. Richard the bartender was fabulous. He prepared a no-name drink that he made special for my husband’s bday! Our whole group loved it and he made a pitcher of it for our table!! The food was very good, the waiters and waitresses were super nice and we got the experience of listening to them sing. All wrapped with a delicious dessert of Tia Maria cookies with ice cream and guayaba!! All was fantastic!! Gloria and Emilio congrats!! And please get Richard to name his drink... it was out of this world.. very tropical and refreshing.. perfect for Miami!!"

"The service was excellent and a very good attention , really the place is very nice and cozy , the decor and the atmosphere make you feel good , the walls with drawings on Cuba , the shapes of the seats the strut the shape of the windows that help you to interact visually with the outside too , it is really a wonderful place. I liked it very much !!! The food I ordered was not with the highest quality but I understand , it is not the preference of the house and also the schedule , we ordered other dishes and we could see that they really have very rich dishes for tourists ."
