"We ate at 18:00 and the food was fine melba mess desert presentation looked like a mess, needed to be in a sundae dish not and not served on a dinner plate but generally ok. Found that as the evening went on lots of items on the menu seemed to have run out as other people ordered around us tables were told we been busy. no lamb shank, no squid, no sticky chicken wings , so no sharing platter, the list seemed to go on as more people arrived.yet nothing was mentioned when we ordered and it wasnt busy."

"The place and the eating itself are good and we will return. but do not book it through an open table. the personal was not even aware of what it was and our booking had changed from the people who showed on the app to the people on their anti-booking system. Nevertheless they were very good and worked hard to accommodate us with nice service. in future I will book directly by phone."

"Have both today a large tray of fish pie. Presented really nice but after taking it out of the oven felt really disappointed. Fish pie cost £11 . It was hard to find a piece of fish! Few pieces of garden peas That’s all! Would not go for it again. As I said very disappointing experience!!! "Quirky interior, which was great. Spoke to a young man behind the counter who told us to take a seat and someone would be with us. A young girl and older woman looked at us a few times over the minutes that we were sat there, before the younger girl finally brought menu's. Huge menu, with lots to choose from. Ordered a few minutes later, and waited. Sadly we were informed that they no longer do child sized portions of the cakes, so we ended up with a massive slab of chocolate cake which was only half eaten by our year old. The older woman then approached the table with waffles but referred to one of them with a different name to that on the menu, so we politely said that wasn't our order. The woman basically barked at us that this was what we had ordered. We tried to explain that we hadn't ordered a waffle with that name, and she gave us the filthiest look before tutting and storming back to the counter. We didn't catch what she called us as she walked away. She then very clearly spoke to the young girl about us, giving us filthy looks throughout. The young girl came over with the same waffles and apologised stating there was a miscommunication and that the waffle was the one we has ordered, and not the one the old woman had said. Maybe it would be best to keep such a rude woman out of a public facing role as she clearly holds no interest in any customer service, unless it is bad customer service. She was giving filthy looks to other customers too, not just us, and a couple who dared to walk out after of being ignored was slated by her as they left."

"Not a lot of atmosphere, a big room with bright light and white walls. No local beer, but the London Pride and Ghost Ship were well kept. Service was friendly and efficient. Didn't eat there so can't comment on food. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"
